In Dune: Awakening, you’ll encounter various materials to manage, and right from the start, you’ll come across Fuel Cells. These are essential, but locating them can be tricky if you’re not sure where to search.
This guide will help you discover where to find Fuel Cells in the game. Once you know their locations, you’ll be able to gather them quickly. The good news is that you don’t need any special equipment—just pick them up off the ground.
Where To Find Fuel Cells
If you are on the hunt for Fuel Cells, chances are you’ll also need to collect Salvaged Metal after reaching your first scavenger camp.
Fuel Cells can primarily be found around these scavenger camps. When you find one, clear out any enemies, then explore the area. Look closely, as Fuel Cells will be scattered on the ground. You might also discover them in proximity to larger pieces of Salvaged Metal, making it easy to gather both resources.
Having trouble locating scavenger camps? Focus your search in rocky areas and keep an eye out for the remnants of buildings or structures. While they can be a bit elusive at first, they are fairly common. If you’re playing with friends, consider spreading out to cover more ground in these rocky zones.
Fuel Cells can also be found in wrecked ships, including locations like the Wreck of Alcyon. If you haven’t reached this area yet, don’t worry! Focus your efforts on scavenger camps for now.
How To Farm Fuel Cells
One great aspect of Dune: Awakening is that resources respawn over time. After a while, items will return to their previous locations. We suggest creating a ‘circuit’ by visiting multiple camps known for having Fuel Cells.
Loot one camp for its Fuel Cells and any other resources, then move on to the next location. You can plan as many stops as you like; once you’ve gone through them all, just circle back to the first camp. By then, the Fuel Cells may have respawned, allowing you to gather them again.
Keep in mind that enemies will respawn as well, so you’ll need to be prepared to face them again. If it’s been a day or two since you looted a specific camp, exercise caution.
