In Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma, your adventure begins in Spring Village, where you’ll face enemies while trying to bring the carpenter back to the community. The initial combat is quite simple, allowing you to focus more on the story without needing to use many healing items or replenish your RP (Rune Points).
As you advance to tougher battles against enemies that are level 60 or higher, you’ll start to rely on healing and RP regeneration more frequently. Fortunately, you have the option to craft various potions to aid you during your journey, and you can use these in combat.
How to Unlock Potions
Unlocking potions in Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma is a straightforward process. You’ll naturally acquire some potions while exploring the game world and completing specific Ema Plaque requests. These requests are a fantastic way to earn potions that match your current level of challenges. However, the quantity you obtain might not suffice for your needs.
If you’re in that situation, you’ll need to start crafting your own potions. To do this, you’ll require the Chemist building. You can unlock it by completing the Winter Village main story, where Zaza introduces you to the Magatama and provides you with the Chemist recipe. After that, you can place the building in any development zone.
Tip: It’s advisable to set up your first Chemist building in Winter Village as it plays a crucial role in progressing through the main storyline.
After constructing the Chemist, find a villager with the Chemist trait. Once you secure one, you can assign them to the building, and they will assist you in creating potions. This villager can also help craft remedies for status effects and other useful items.
Every Potion You Can Make and How to Unlock It
