Cronos: The New Dawn features a complex story that includes time travel, a mysterious illness, and several surprises that change how you see the main character and others. As you progress with The Traveler, you’ll gradually learn more about the game’s world and what The Vocation is.
When you reach the final part of the game, you’ll see an ending that aims to reveal some of the game’s secrets. But there are multiple endings you can unlock, each leading to different results. This guide will explain how to get each one.

How to Unlock Every Ending
Throughout the game, you mostly make two types of decisions: dialogue choices and Essence choices. During interactions, you can choose to be kind or harsh. You will also encounter Fallen Travelers and have the opportunity to take their Essence, which replaces a previous one you held.
However, your choices do not influence the endings. No matter what you decide, you can still select any ending after defeating The Pathfinder and watching the final cutscene.
How to Unlock the “I Am Free” Ending
Choose the option, “Shoot Him. End it here.” This results in killing The Pathfinder. The Traveler also dies as she opens a portal, allowing Weronika to return to her universe before The Change — but she will be carrying the disease.
How to Unlock the “A Flicker of Hope” Ending
Pick the option, “Spare Him. Let Him Go.” Weronika and The Pathfinder escape, but she still becomes infected. The Pathfinder will try to remove her Essence.
How to Unlock the “Free From All the Scars” (Secret Ending)
After completing the game once, you’ll unlock New Game + mode. Play through the game again using this mode, and you will see a new choice: “Begin Anew.” Selecting this option causes The Traveler to realize that the cycle has repeated. She will then attempt to change the outcome with Weronika’s help.
