Have you ever gazed at a piece of furniture or an appliance in your home and thought about how fascinating it would be if it had a personality? Maybe even entertained the idea of a romantic connection with it? No? Well, it’s time to start imagining, because Date Everything will make you curious about the hidden stories all around you.
The game features a variety of Dateables, from ordinary household items to the deeper emotions that arise when you lie down at night—even nostalgia for eras you never experienced firsthand. Meet Bodhi, a nostalgic relic from the 1980s who seems to be stuck in that vibrant decade.
How to Meet Bodhi
Bodhi represents a time capsule from the 1980s. Interestingly, he’s owned by a character much younger than the decade he embodies, which means he could be hard to find in the game. Bodhi is somewhat of a hidden treasure.
To discover him, you’ll need to access the crawlspace under the house. Head to the boiler room connected to your home office, where you’ll find a rug that you can roll up to unveil a hidden trapdoor.
Through conversations with Beau, you’ll eventually learn how to access the crawlspace and receive tips to find it.
Once you enter the crawlspace, you’ll meet a few more Dateables. Along with Keith, who serves as a skeleton key to the attic, Bodhi should be hiding in a corner near one of the support pillars. Interact with him to learn all about the era he’s from.
Where to Find All of Bodhi’s Locations
After meeting Bodhi, you’ll find out that this is his first awakening since the 1980s, leading to a whirlwind of new experiences, like smartphones, the internet, video game consoles, and social media. Curious about his surroundings, he decides to explore your home.
Your mission is to track down Bodhi as he roams the house. Unlike Bobby, Bodhi won’t give you any clues to his locations, but his larger size makes him easier to spot. Ready? Let’s scour your home for this cool character!
Location #1
The first place you’ll discover Bodhi is in the Living Room, perched on the arm of the sofa. Engage him in conversation as he reminisces about his favorite TV shows. He finds the concept of streaming amusing compared to the curated media of his time.
After a delightful chat about the changes in entertainment, Bodhi will move on to another part of the house. You can always catch up with him tomorrow.
Location #2
Your next encounter with Bodhi is in your office, where he’s sitting on a shelf by the window. Interact with him to discuss the internet—its vast information and the unique behaviors of its users. He finds it a lot to process, but appreciates how it connects communities.
Location #3
Next, you’ll find Bodhi in a more personal space—your bedroom. He’s once again on your bedside table, but this time he’s a bit quiet. It seems he’s been reflecting on some harsh realities from the ‘80s, and he could use some reassurance from you.
Location #4
For your next chat, Bodhi is back in the Living Room, now resting on the mantelpiece, facing the piano. He seems to have embraced his nostalgia while also recognizing the beauty of the modern world. It’s a nice blend of both eras.
Location #5
Your final conversation with Bodhi takes place again in your bedroom. This time, he shares his feelings about how both the past and present shape him. This is your chance to express how you feel about him. If you’ve built a solid connection, now’s the moment to confess your love.
After this, Bodhi will permanently stay on your bedside table.
How to Change Your Relationship Status with Bodhi
Bodhi, like the other Dateables, has three different endings. Achieving each one is straightforward; here’s how.
Love
Bodhi is a warm-hearted character. Sharing in his enthusiasm is the key to his heart. He values honesty and your reassurance that he’s not defined by the negative aspects of the ‘80s is crucial to winning his romantic affections.
Friends
If you prefer friendship over romance, you can opt for that as well, provided you meet the love requirements. Otherwise, you’ll need to be a bit less aware of his past. Focus on the present and forget about the past, and you can still be friends, though the generational divide may limit your connection.
Hate
Getting to a hate ending with Bodhi is quite easy. To do so, you simply need to disdain the ‘80s. Deny it completely and praise the modern age, treating him as if he’s merely a relic. He won’t respond well to that and will gladly share his frustrations about it.
