The recent update, “The Tides Of Terraria,” introduced a variety of new equipment in Palworld. To craft this gear, you’ll need a special ore known as Coralum. It’s crucial to collect these ores, as they are essential for defeating tougher bosses and foes.

Locating Coralum Ore can be tricky. Unlike other ores, it doesn’t appear in large deposits that you can mine. Instead, you’ll need to utilize the fishing system to collect Coralum Ores, which are then combined to create Coralum Ingots.

How to Obtain Coralum Ore

There are two main methods to gather Coralum Ore. You can catch it by fishing for Whalaska, or you can use a Fishing Magnet to extract ores from bubbling rubble in the ocean, particularly in advanced zones around places like Feybreak Island.

Whalaska typically appears in Advanced or Master fishing spots and is available only during the daytime. A good strategy is to search along the shores of Feybreak Tower. Equip the Advanced Fishing Rod to increase your chances.

Alternatively, you can breed Whalaska and use them in the Disassembly Line for a consistent supply of Coralum Ore.

It’s also advised to use Alluring Bait, which enlarges the fishing bar during the mini-game.

How to Salvage Coralum Ore

To salvage the Coralum Ore, you first need to craft a Powerful Fishing Magnet, which you can unlock in the Technology menu at Level 61. You will require a Hexolite Bar to create ten Fishing Magnets at a Production Line. Each time you use a Fishing Magnet on the rubble, it will consume one magnet.

Coralum Ore can be discovered in the rubble located in high-level sea areas. To access these areas, you’ll need a Pal with swimming abilities, like Azurobe, Surfent, or Jormuntide. After crafting their saddle, you can ride these Pals, equip your fishing rod, and hold the button to start the mini-game.

In the mini-game, you must press the button when the bar is in the green zone of the circle. If you miss, don’t worry; your fishing magnet won’t be used up, so you can keep trying until you succeed.

Once you’ve collected Coralum Ore, you can unlock Coralum Ingots in the Technology menu at Level 61. After that, use the Gigantic Furnace to craft the ingots.
