When you start your journey in the Horns of the South, Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon offers you a wealth of side quests, treasure to collect, and bounties to pursue. While King Arthur’s mission is urgent and his talks by the bonfires are significant, sometimes it’s wise to take down some bandit leaders to boost your finances first.
Although it can be tricky to gather enough gold to acquire everything you desire, completing bounties for Cillian at the bounty board in the Horns of the South fortress is an effective way to rake in coins quickly. Bromhar, lurking in the quiet mountains, bears a notable resemblance to Rusty Ardghal, another notorious outlaw.
How to Begin “The Head of Bromhar No Face”
To kick off The Head of Bromhar No Face quest in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, make your way to the Horns of the South fortress, located in the southwest corner of the map.
You’ll find Cillian behind a counter next to the bounty board; he’s your go-to guy for all the bounties you choose to accept.
Feel free to hand over any bounties you’ve completed for regular bandits to Cillian, then set off to the Ancient Cromlech found in the northern area of the map.
How to Locate and Defeat Bromhar No Face
Once you’ve noted the location on your map, fast travel to the furthest northern point (preferably the Ancient Cave or Ancient Cromlech), then head to the northern edge of the Horns of the South.
If you’ve previously entered Cuanacht, you can fast travel to the gate there and then return to the Horns of the South.
Upon reaching your destination, you’ll easily spot Bromhar No Face thanks to his striking red hair and the blue war paint adorning his visage.
If you’re skilled at sneaking, take advantage of this chance to approach Bromhar No Face without being seen and unleash a powerful sneak attack. Alternatively, if you prefer magic, you can begin the battle by casting a spell from a distance.
Bromhar is a tough and aggressive enemy, so make sure to stock up on potions and have ranged attacks ready in case his close-combat skills become overwhelming.
After defeating Bromhar, loot his body to claim Bromhar No Face’s Head and the Executioner’s Axe.
