The expansive landscape of Assassin’s Creed Shadows is packed with activities. Most tasks send you infiltrating various locations, battling enemies, and obtaining loot. Among these activities, there are four unique challenges that really put your navigation and parkour skills to the test, each starting with ‘Path of’.

The first challenge you’ll likely encounter is the Path of Valor. It’s important to know its starting point, how to navigate the course, and what you stand to gain once you complete it. Below are all the essential details you need.

Starting the Path of Valor

To find the Path of Valor, head northwest of Senri Hills, near the viewpoint. Look for the yellow-painted rocks; that’s your starting point.

Remember, to complete the Path of Valor, you must play as Naoe, just like with all Path challenges in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Walkthrough

Begin by following the yellow markings and use your grapple to swing over to a tree. Next, ascend and navigate slightly to the left, climbing over more rocks. From there, take a left turn, leap onto a branch, and ascend the yellow-painted rocks in front of you.

Once you’ve climbed up, swing over the gap before scaling the cliff face. Continue forward and cross over a rope. This is why it’s essential to play as Naoe instead of Yasuke.

After crossing the rope, slide down the stony slope to your left. As you progress, jump over to the branch that juts out from the cliff. Use the handholds to navigate left, then drop down onto another slope to slide down.

Take a quick right and climb up the rock face. Then, run along a fallen tree before leaping onto the branch. Use your grapple to swing across to another rope.

At the end of the path, you’ll find a chest located by a rock straight ahead.
