During the live stream for Version 3.2 of Honkai: Star Rail, the developers revealed exciting plans to celebrate the game’s second anniversary. Throughout this version, players can enjoy a variety of rewards as a token of appreciation, including multiple pulls and a complimentary five-star character of your choice.
The Version 3.2 update will go live on April 9, 2025. Anniversary rewards will be distributed across the updates, with some available simply by logging in, while others will require participating in special events.
Anniversary Login Rewards for Honkai: Star Rail
Starting with each new version of Honkai: Star Rail, players can participate in a daily login event, which typically offers ten Star Rail Special passes (for limited banner pulls) over a span of seven days. For this anniversary, however, you’ll receive double the amount—20 passes—in the same timeframe.
Moreover, players can select one character to receive a special card, along with an additional 1,600 Stellar Jades (or the equivalent of ten pulls) and ten fuel on April 26, 2025. The characters you can choose from are:
- March 7th
- Dan Heng
- Himeko
- Welt
- Black Swan
- Sunday
- Kafka
- Silver Wolf
- Blade
- Firefly
In addition, between Versions 3.2 and 3.4, players can obtain a free Golden Companion Spirit, which can be exchanged for one five-star character. If you’re unsure who to select, guides comparing these characters will be available to help. During Version 3.2, players can also purchase a designated amount of Oneiric Shards to receive another free golden Companion Spirit.
Special Events for the Anniversary in HSR
Besides logging in for rewards, there will be several events to join, with the primary anniversary event being Star Rail WORLD. This event invites players to team up with various characters to throw an interstellar celebration.
Completing this event will net you plenty of Stellar Jades and The Great Cosmic Enterprise Erudition Light Cone. As you play through this event, you can aim to enhance this Light Cone to Superimposition five. Additionally, players can participate in the Astral Express Annual Trailblaze Report for a chance to earn more Jades.
This Trailblazer Report event will kick off on April 26, 2026.
Lastly, similar to last year, you’ll also have opportunities to enjoy triple drops for relics and planar ornaments at select times throughout this version.
Shop Resets and Additional Changes for the Second Anniversary
Much like in the previous year, the release of Version 3.2 will see all Oneiric Shard bonuses reset. If you’ve purchased packs with double bonuses, you’ll have the chance to do so again one time for each pack. Additionally, you can earn one Golden Companion Spirit by acquiring a specific amount of Shards.
Another new currency, the Light Cone Memory Shard, will be introduced after the Version 3.2 update. Collect four of these shards to purchase one of the five-star Light Cones available in the shop, which will include some beyond the standard character Light Cones.
You can obtain Light Cone Memory Shards from the premium tiers of the battle pass (Nameless Glory and Nameless Medal) and by purchasing Oneiric Shards. Please note that the latter option will only be available during the Version 3.2 update.
The new Light Cones will be part of a change to the gacha system in Honkai: Star Rail. After the Version 3.2 update, players will be able to select up to seven non-featured characters for the limited character banner, and if you miss your 50:50 chance, you’ll be awarded one of these selected characters.
The selections will include seven standard characters along with Seele, Blade, and Fu Xuan, and the limited characters will rotate periodically, bringing fresh options to the shop.
