In **Persona 5: The Phantom X**, there’s a lot happening that you need to stay on top of. As you progress, new features of the game will become available to you, and one of the more surprising elements, Revelation Cards, are unlocked quite late. These cards serve a crucial role as your defensive equipment, providing various stat boosts. However, they offer even more nuances that are worth delving into.
Unlocking Revelation Cards is just the beginning. Once you’re able to equip them, you need to learn how to acquire them. We’ll guide you through how these cards function, where to find them, and the specific advantages each card offers.
Unlocking Revelation Cards
You gain access to Revelation Cards at level 35. Upon reaching that milestone, you’ll receive a brief tutorial about equipping them. Don’t overlook this new mechanic, as Revelation Cards can provide your characters with significant stat boosts right away. Think of these cards as essential gear. If you neglect to upgrade your team with these cards, they may struggle against more powerful enemies.
How to Obtain Revelation Cards
There are mainly two methods for acquiring Revelation Cards:
- You can use your limited energy to farm for them in the Realm of Repression.
- You can find them in treasure chests while exploring the Path of Aiyatsbus.
At level 35, your farming options are limited to lower-level Revelation Cards, and any cards you gather will eventually need to be replaced. It’s not the best use of stamina to farm in the Realm of Repression unless you really need a specific card. Instead, focus on exploring Aiyatsbus to collect treasure until you reach a higher level and can farm for better cards.
Understanding Revelation Cards
Revelation Cards are straightforward. You have four slots—represented by the Sun, Moon, Star, and Sky—and cards can only be placed in their designated slots. When you collect pairs or sets of the same type, you’ll receive bonuses. The ultimate goal is to achieve the four-set boost, which activates more powerful abilities.
What are Sub-stats?
Each card has randomized sub-stats that can enhance various attributes. A card can gain more stats as it levels up, peaking at five stats. Some sets, like the Peace set, are better suited for defense-focused builds, so ideally, you want an HP boost from those cards rather than an Attack Power increase. Unfortunately, the sub-stats you get are completely random.
Meaning of Different Colors
The rarity of each Revelation Card is indicated by colors, ranking from lowest to highest as follows: gray, blue, purple, and gold. Higher-quality cards allow for greater leveling and potential power.
