### How to Catch Bugs and Critters
Bugs and critters are often tricky to catch, and there’s no specific tool for catching bugs. Instead, you’ll use your hands. To approach a bug, walk slowly towards it and use the interaction button to grab it. Flying insects are more challenging; you’ll need to jump and time your catch perfectly. With practice, you’ll learn how to judge their distance and depth. Once caught, bugs will appear in small crates in your inventory.
You can give these bugs as gifts to residents of Zephyr Town, but most will not appreciate receiving them. The better option is to sell them at the weekly market, earning extra money. Selling bugs helps boost your income and gives you useful items while restocking between market days.

To improve the star rating of your bugs and critters, donate what you catch to the Nature Sprites. Every four levels you increase with them, you unlock a half-star upgrade. The types of bugs that give bonus points change regularly, so check back often to see which bugs grant the most experience. Also, keep trending or valuable critters in your collection to sell at the market for maximum profit.
