The Outer Worlds 2 offers many things to find, and the mural pieces might be some of the most eye-catching. You’ll come across the first mural shortly after landing in Dorado. If you examine the plaque, it becomes clear that valuable mural fragments are sprinkled across several murals on the planet.
To collect these pieces, simply pick out the one that looks different from the rest in each mural. However, locating the murals themselves can sometimes be tricky. Knowing where to look can really make your trip to Dorado much easier, allowing you to complete your collection and earn your rewards without much trouble.
Alexandra Station Mural Location
The easiest mural piece to access after arriving in Golden Ridge is at Alexandra Station. Enter the station and take the elevator to the second floor. On your right, you’ll see mural panels on the wall, and selecting the second one begins your collection.
Another straightforward mural to find is in the Decommissioned Autonomous Extractorium, near the back of the facility. You can grab the fourth mural piece from the display there. Be prepared to face some resistance in this area, but you’ll also meet Aza, who has plenty of witty (and deadly) comments.
Guardian Estates Mural Piece
Further west, in the Guardian Estates area, you’ll find the third mural piece. Make a detour to the tram station here, where the mural is easy to spot. Just keep in mind, unless you’re good at sneaking, you’ll likely need to fight several scrappers in this spot.
N-Ray Range Mural Piece
The N-Ray Range appears as part of the “On the Trail of the Traitor” quest, so there’s no reason to rush here early. You’ll have to navigate through the facility in a complex way, but once you reach the front door of the N-Ray Range, you can enter the tram station and pick up the rightmost mural panel from the wall.
Alexandra Monastery Mural
Finally, you’ll find yourself back near where you started, heading from Matriarch’s Mercy to the Alexandra Monastery as part of the main story. Continue until you reach a courtyard with a pavilion in the center. Head to the tram station in the southeast corner of the courtyard to find the last mural piece on the left side.
Completing the Collection
After gathering all the pieces, you’ll unlock “The Pursuit of the Partite Pentaptych” quest and upgrade the Art Enthusiast perk. This will give you a 10% boost in experience points from companion kills. Since collecting murals is a simple task while exploring Golden Ridge, there’s no reason not to complete the collection in The Outer Worlds 2.
