Demiguise Statues are some of the many collectibles scattered throughout the wizarding world in Hogwarts Legacy. These statues are important for progressing in the game because they are needed to unlock certain locked doors. There are a total of 30 Demiguise Statues, with 10 of them located inside Hogwarts. The statues depict a creature similar to a sloth holding a moon-shaped charm. To collect all the Demiguise Statues within Hogwarts, players need to do so during nighttime.

Like most games, some mechanics and quests become available only after certain points in the story. For example, the hunt for Demiguise Statues requires players to be in the Autumn season and to have finished the first trial. Doing so unlocks a special quest called “The Caretaker’s Lunar Lament” in Hogwarts Legacy.

All Demiguise Statues in Hogwarts

Players will get a letter from Gladwin Moon, who will teach them the Alohomora spell. This spell helps unlock doors throughout the game and has three levels of mastery. You start with the level one spell, taught by Gladwin Moon, and can unlock more doors and collect more statues as you increase your spell’s strength by collecting Demiguise Statues.

Key Locations for Demiguise Statues:

Professor Fig’s Classroom:
After finishing the initial quest with Gladwin Moon, teleport to the Astronomy Tower via the Floo Flame. Go through the door into Professor Fig’s classroom, then head upstairs into his office. The statue is nearby at the back of the room.
The Great Hall:
Teleport there and go to the back of the room. You’ll find a locked door (requires level one Alohomora), and the statue is on the center table.
Divination Classroom:
Use the Floo Flame in the Library Annex, go up the staircase, and climb the magical ladder. The statue sits on a desk.
Restricted Section of the Library:
From the Library, go through the double doors on the left, descend down several stairs, and find the statue at the end of the Restricted Section on a dresser.
Castle Wall – North Exit:
Use the Floo Flame at the Bell Tower Wing, run through the courtyard, and find the door with a level one lock along the castle wall, where the statue is located.
Muggle Studies Classroom:
Teleport to the Bell Tower Courtyard, turn left, and go up the stairs. The statue is inside a locked room, sitting in the corner.
Beasts Classroom:
Teleport there via the Floo Flame, open the locked door, and find the statue in the back of the room once you cast Alohomora.
Defense Against the Dark Arts – Astronomy Wing:
Use the Floo Flame at the Transfiguration Courtyard, go into the tower, and unlock the door with Alohomora inside the room.
Haunted Toilets:
Located near the South Wing, by the Clock Tower Courtyard Floo Flame. Enter the haunted bathrooms through the corridor and find the statue inside the center stall.
Storage Closet – Potions Classroom:
In the Library Annex, follow the stairs into a hallway. The last statue is inside a storage closet on a level two locked door.
