Elden Ring has a wide variety of items and upgrades to discover, but few are as important as Sacred Tears. These materials boost the effectiveness of the Crimson and Cerulean Flasks, making tough boss fights and tough enemy challenges much easier by restoring more health and FP. On the large map of the Lands Between, it’s easy to overlook some Sacred Tears.
When upgrading your flasks, your first step should be to visit any church you come across, as many contain these upgrades. To speed up the process, check the maps and information below to learn which locations to visit.
Sacred Tear Locations in Limgrave
The first Sacred Tears you’ll likely find are in Limgrave and the Weeping Peninsula.
-
Third Church of Marika: Located in the northeast part of Limgrave.
Church of Pilgrimage: Found at the northern tip of the Weeping Peninsula.
-
Fourth Church of Marika: Near the Tombsword area, on the western end of the peninsula.
-
Callu Baptismal Church: Situated on a cliff near the southern side of the region.
Sacred Tear Locations in Liurnia
In the expansive, watery middle section of Liurnia, Sacred Tears are limited, but some can be found near the northern and southern edges.
-
Church of Irith: Just outside Stormveil Castle.
-
Church of Inhibition: On a plateau near the northern end of Liurnia.
-
Second Church of Marika: Near the center of Liurnia.
-
Stormcaller Church: Located on a plateau southeast of the Second Church of Marika.
Sacred Tear in Caelid
There is only one Sacred Tear in Caelid.
- Church of the Plague: Found near the middle of the Caelid region.
Sacred Tears in Mountaintops of the Giants
The last two Sacred Tears are in the Mountaintops of the Giants, and no more are available in the DLC regions, as focus shifts to other upgrade methods.
-
Church of Repose: Located on a mountain outside the region.
-
First Church of Marika: Situated on the eastern side of the region, beneath the lake area.
By visiting all these locations, you’ll maximize your flask upgrades in Elden Ring. With enough Sacred Tears, combat becomes easier, especially if you find the right moment to heal between attacks.
