If you’re looking to enhance your character in **Dune Awakening**, knowing the locations of trainers is essential. The game incorporates RPG elements into its survival gameplay, enabling you to unlock new skills as you progress. However, at the beginning, you’re limited to one skill tree, which makes it crucial to focus your character development until you can access more options through trainers and mentors.

Bene Gesserit Trainer Locations

The Bene Gesserit trainer, Sister Mesa, is at Helius Gate in the Eastern Shield Wall region. She will assign you the task of delivering important texts as part of a contract called “Bene Gesserit Basics: The Missing Pieces.” To unlock the Bene Gesserit skill tree, you’ll need to retrieve the Lisan al-Gaib and Mahdi’s Blade texts marked on your map.

For advanced training, visit Jacosta Cleo in the northeastern area of Harko Village. An ornithopter pilot can take you from any tradepost to reach Harko Village easily.

Mentat Trainer Locations

The Mentat trainer, Samin Moro, is located at Riftwatch, which is at the southern tip of Hagga Rift. Her initial contract, “Mentat Basics: First Blood,” requires you to deliver 100 Plant Fiber and 40 Iron Ore. These resources are abundant in Hagga Rift, so you shouldn’t have difficulty gathering them. After completing that, you’ll need to plant poison in a specified container to finish the contract and unlock the Mentat skill tree.

The advanced Mentat trainer, Zayn de Witte, can be found in Arrakeen. Completing his quests will further unlock the Mentat skill tree.

Planetologist Trainer Locations

Derek Chinara, the Planetologist trainer, is hidden in a cave above Imperial Testing Station No. 2 in Hagga Basin South. He will give you the contract “Planetologist Basics: Mimic Film Recovery.” Retrieve the Mimic Film from Imperial Station No. 2 and return it to him to unlock the Planetologist skill tree.

For advanced training, Derek can be found at Imperial Testing Station 197 in Western Vermillius Gap. After completing his quests, he’ll go back to his hideout in Hagga Basin, where you can accept additional contracts.

Trooper Trainer Locations

To unlock the Trooper skill tree, talk to Ghavouri at the Griffin’s Reach Tradepost in Hagga Basin South. He’ll assign you the “Trooper Basics: Proving Ground” contract, where you need to defeat three local bandit leaders. Once you’ve completed that, return to Ghavouri to unlock the Trooper skill tree.

The advanced Trooper trainer, Kara Valk, is situated in central Arrakeen. You can reach her by taking a short ornithopter flight for 2,500 Solaris.

Swordmaster Trainer Locations

Arno, the Swordmaster trainer, is at Pinnacle Station in Jabal Eifrit Al-Gharb. His contract, “Swordmaster Basics: Checking the Post,” involves you searching various points of interest across the desert, including a cave, a shipwreck, and an Imperial Testing Station. Report back to Arno after completing this to unlock the Swordmaster skill tree.
