After progressing significantly through the main story in Dawnshore and Emerald Stairs in Avowed, you will ultimately arrive at the Garden as your final destination. However, before you can reach it, you must navigate the Shatterscarp area, characterized by deserts and formidable foes.
This third area introduces the third totem quest, known as the Totem of Revelations. To gather all the pieces of this totem, you must explore several locations scattered across Shatterscarp.
Shatterscarp Totem Fragment Clue Location
While Avowed doesn’t provide specific markers for totem locations, you can purchase a clue to their whereabouts from certain traders in each area. Fortunately, tracking down these traders in Shatterscarp is easier compared to Dawnshore and Emerald Stairs.
You simply need to make your way to the Thirdborn city and delve deeper until you meet a trader named Cinzia, who operates her own bar. You can browse through her inventory and purchase the clue for the standard price of 500 currency, just like in other regions.
Shatterscarp Totem Core Location
Once inside the shrine, any path you take will eventually guide you to the central area. Look around, and you will find the core placed on a chair, making it easily accessible.
Sapphire Eye Location
Most of the totem pieces in Shatterscarp are relatively easy to find, including the Sapphire Eye. The clue for this particular piece indicates that it is located in an oasis. One of the two oases in Shatterscarp lies on the southeastern edge, named Sand Sea Oasis, which is your target.
Simply go to this oasis and swim to the bottom to find the eye, along with a unique clothing item.

The Ruby Eye is likely one of the first fragments you’ll discover, as it is very close to the Totem Core. Head into the Shrine of Wael located in the southwestern section of Shatterscarp.

The clue for the Amethyst Eye indicates that it is located near a flame-scarred village, which refers to the Scaedclef area on the left-middle section of Shatterscarp. Upon reaching this area, head slightly southeast from the lowest building, and you will discover a small cave.
This cave may not be a typical entry into the wall, but it will be sheltered by the cliff above. Inside the cave, you will find this eye resting.
Emerald Eye Location
If you’re following the main storyline, finding the Emerald Eye should be quite straightforward. The clue points to an unfinished statue near the ice area, specifically in Ryngrim’s Domain. To collect this eye, head toward the northeastern part of the Shark’s Teeth building.
Teleport to the Shark Teeth party camp and move southeast along the structure. When the path splits, take the right side, where you will see a statue supported by wooden platforms. The Emerald Eye is located atop this statue.
Agate Eye Location
To find the Agate Eye, go to the Sand Sea Ruins situated on the eastern edge of Shatterscarp. When you arrive, you’ll notice that the main entrance is sealed from the other side. You can locate an alternative entrance by taking the path to the left of the main entryway.
As you follow this path, you’ll come across a ladder leading to the top, which lets you drop down into the ruins. Inside, you’ll discover a platform and a door in the middle, where the Agate Eye awaits.
Topaz Eye Location
To collect the last component of the Shatterscarp totem, visit Leviathan’s Hollow located on the western side of the map, just northeast of Sulfur Mines Basecamp. Expect challenging encounters here, so ensure you’re prepared before diving in.
Upon reaching the central area of the hollow, outside the water, you should find a blue chest on the left side after ascending a few stairs. Moving past the chest, you’ll spot a small path leading to a table that holds this eye.
