In this guide, you’ll find the locations of all the Kabukimono targets in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. There are eight distinct assassination targets scattered throughout the Izumi Settsu and Harima regions. The Kabukimono, a rowdy group made up of ronin warriors and bandits, represent one of the first of many enigmatic factions you’ll encounter in the game. According to your quest giver, they influence children poorly. If you’re looking to make a positive impact on the youth, here’s where you can locate all the Kabukimono in Assassin’s Creed Shadows and how to find them.
Kabukimono Locations in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
There are 8 Kabukimono targets to track down in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Here’s the rundown of their locations:
- Ghost General: Money Changer District, Sakai, Izumi Settsu Region
- Ember: Burned buildings north of Sakai, Izumi Settsu Region
- Chief Cuckoo: Katano Oil Trading, southwest of Katano Castle, Izumi Settsu Region
- Grave Dancer: Sumiyoshi Shrine, Osaka, Izumi Settsu Region
- Big Sueki: Muko Post Town, Amagasaki, Izumi Settsu Region
- Corrupt Blade: Habayama Camp below Mount Haba Synchronization Point, Kanki Burned Fields, Harima Region
- Laughing Man: Blackstone Cascades, east of Mount Kasagata, Harima Region
- Peacock: Unnamed hill path, north-northeast of Mount Kasagata, along the Harima and Tamba border
If you follow the quest given by Shin’Nyo in Nishinomiya Shrine Town and eliminate enough targets, you’ll receive a letter prompting you to return to the original Shrine. This will allow you to issue a challenge for a direct confrontation with three of the targets. They will appear at the following location:
- Ghost General, Peacock & Laughing Man: Unnamed lumberyard south of Takagi Otsuka Fort, Kanki Burned Fields, Harima Region
There’s no distinct advantage to handling the confrontation one way or another; it really depends on whether you prefer to take them on separately or all at once. Neither approach is inherently right or wrong, although it may favor different play styles depending on the Assassin’s Creed Shadows characters, Naoe and Yasuke. Additionally, if you take out any of them individually before activating the summoning letter, it will decrease the number of enemies you face during the encounter.
Once you’ve completed your mission, return to Shin’Nyo to collect your rewards. You’re likely to gain some experience points, amounting to 5000 XP, so make sure to check out the best skills available in Assassin’s Creed Shadows!
