There are many different vehicles in Battlefield 6 that you can drive and operate. Each one is equipped with various weapons and tools to help you fight against the opposing team. Transport vehicles allow you to move your squad quickly, while infantry fighting vehicles and tanks provide strong ground firepower. Attack helicopters and jets take the fight to the skies in Battlefield 6.
However, during the beta testing, only a select few vehicles were available, so we still have a lot to learn about all the options in the game. Both NATO and Pax Armata factions share some vehicles in the beta, but this might not be the case in the full release. Here’s a list of the vehicles we know so far, along with how they function based on our experience.
Battlefield 6 Vehicles Overview
Battlefield 6 promises a wide variety of vehicles for players to use in matches. Many of these were available in the open beta, and more have appeared in trailers but aren’t yet playable. Here’s what we’ve seen or used so far:
- Transports: Quadbike (probably for both sides), Flyer 60 light vehicle (possibly for both sides)
- Tanks: M1A2 Abrams, Bradley Fighting Vehicle (NATO), Leopard, CV90 (Pax Armata)
- Anti-Aircraft: Gepard and Stationary GDF-009 (likely for both sides)
- Helicopters: Apache (NATO), Tiger (Pax Armata), Black Hawk (probably for both sides)
- Jets: F-16 (probably available for both sides), F-22 (NATO), Gripen (Pax Armata)
A full list of vehicles was leaked on Reddit by a user named HearMeOut-13, which seems accurate in many parts. Keep in mind, these details might change before the game officially launches in October. Some vehicles listed might be exclusive to Portal mode and not appear in regular multiplayer. For instance, several boats are listed, but maps in Battlefield 6 haven’t shown support for boats yet.
Below, I’ll explain how each vehicle type works, what they can do, and which maps they’re available on, based on our beta tests.
Light Ground Vehicles
These quick, troop-cassing cars can hold up to five players and are perfect for transporting your squad fast. They come with a machine gun turret for offense, but offer little protection, so steer clear of high-danger areas.
- Capacity: 5 players (1 driver, 1 gunner, 3 passengers)
- Weapons: Machine gun turret
- Maps where available: Liberation Peak, Siege of Cairo, Iberian Offensive
Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFVs)
These small tanks are built mainly for combatting enemy infantry. Their weapons are effective against fortified positions and foot soldiers, and they can also inflict serious damage on ground vehicles. They’re more agile than main tanks and can carry troops around.
- Capacity: 6 players (1 driver, 1 gunner, 4 passengers)
- Weapons: Cannon, guided missiles, self-repair system, radar pulse, machine gun, target painter, smoke launchers
- Maps where available: Liberation Peak, Siege of Cairo, Iberian Offensive
Main Battle Tanks (MBTs)
The most powerful ground vehicles in Battlefield 6, these tanks are heavily armed with cannons and machine guns. They’re tough to destroy and excel at ground combat, with some ability to attack air targets if skilled. Due to their size, they are slower and more vulnerable.
- Capacity: 4 players (1 driver, 1 gunner, 2 passengers)
- Weapons: Main cannon with anti-armor shells, secondary machine gun, smoke launchers
- Maps where available: Liberation Peak, Siege of Cairo
Attack Helicopters
Fast and heavily armed, attack helicopters can take out ground vehicles and sometimes other aircraft. They are highly mobile, allowing quick map access, but are vulnerable to anti-aircraft fire, ground troops, jets, and other helicopters.
- Capacity: 2 players (pilot and gunner)
- Weapons: Rockets, anti-air missiles, flares, self-repair, autocannon, guided missiles
- Maps where available: Liberation Peak
Attack Jets
Jets in Battlefield 6 are highly agile and pack a punch, able to engage air and ground targets rapidly. However, they are fragile and require skilled pilotage to avoid enemy fire and perform effective strafing or dogfights.
- Capacity: 1 pilot
- Weapons: Autocannon, air-to-ground missiles, bombs, flares
- Maps where available: Liberation Peak
Mastering these vehicles and understanding their strengths and weaknesses will give you a major advantage on the battlefield. Keep practicing, and stay tuned for more updates as more vehicles become available before the full game’s release.
