Kovalsky is on a cleanup job at Wild At Heart, a gaming company featured in Crime Scene Cleaner. The place was supposed to get a positive PR boost, but instead, it ended up a bloody disaster. We all know who bears the responsibility for covering up these messes.

This mission includes everything you’d expect from a typical Crime Scene Cleaner task: several bodies, blood splattered on the walls, floors, and ceiling, and a lot of hidden clues. Here’s what you need to know to complete the Development Hell level in Crime Scene Cleaner.

Complete Development Hell Walkthrough

When you arrive at Wild At Heart, head to the right where the changing rooms and bathrooms are. There’s a bucket point there, and you should check lockers for valuables and a floppy disk, which is an important item.

Before leaving the reception area, use the computer to delete the email. The doors directly behind you are locked, so proceed straight ahead to the open workspace area.

Open Workspace

Start by cleaning up the trash to see what needs fixing and cleaning. First, find a dead body in the second cubicle on the left, with a sword in its chest. Grab a horse statue from the shelf on the right and check the desk for items of interest.

Next, head toward the pool table area, where you’ll find another body with a pool cue lodged in its chest. When everything is cleared, go upstairs via the staircase next to this area.

Beyond the stairs, there’s a locked door which later opens with Greg’s key. Inside, you’ll find the last piece of evidence in this section, plus a controller trophy in the kiddie pool that you’ll need to pick up later.

Stairwell

The staircase leads both up and down. In both directions, you’ll find blood to clean, a fire extinguisher to replace, and other items like a painting and a computer chair that need returning to their spots in the Executive Suite.

Executive Suite

Use the access card found earlier to enter the Executive Suite. Clear bloodstains and tidy up the furniture, including placing the computer chairs back where they belong. Inside, you’ll find a body along with a sword for evidence, and Greg’s key next to the body. This key opens a utility room before the stairwell, which contains an audio recording.

Level -1

Descend to Level -1. To your left is a steam room with a small, valuable ring inside. In the hall, find a body and a knife. To the right of the entrance to Level -1, there’s a room filled with blood and chaos; inside is an axe, which is evidence, and another body.

Secret Room (CD 02)

Behind the hall of fame trophies, find a large green screen. Sneak behind it to uncover a secret door leading to a hidden room. Inside, find a CD, an audio recording from the creepy gardener, and some cash.

Offices (CD 02)

Go back upstairs to the Office area and take the controller trophy from the kiddie pool. Use the keycard to access the offices through a locked door near the pool table. Place both controller trophies in their display spots in the Hall of Fame.

Marketing & Sales

In the Marketing & Sales section, clear the blood and tidies the room. To the right is the CEO’s office, which contains a body and a sword. Pick up Greg’s key next to the body to open the small utility room before the stairwell, where you’ll find an audio recording.

Offices Continued

Back in the main office hall, clear debris and set the scene. Inside the Programming Office, you’ll find a bonfire and another controller trophy to return. Also, grab a CD and a fire extinguisher.

In the previous room, move the water cooler so it doesn’t block the door, then enter the security office on the right. There, find a body, evidence, and the elevator keycard on the desk.

Secret Room (CD 03)

Look for a large green screen in the hallway with hall of fame trophies. Sneak behind it to find a secret door, which leads to a hidden room. Inside, there’s a CD, an audio recording from the gardener, and cash.

Executive Suite Continued

Return upstairs to the Executive Suite. Use the elevator keycard to access this area, where you’ll find the body and a sword in the main office. Greg’s key unlocks a utility room with an audio recording. Valuables and evidence—like a gold gun—are scattered around.

Secret Room (CD 04)

Inside the CEO’s office, play the arcade game Super Stacker and score 50,000 points or more to unlock a door. Inside, find a CD, cash, and a golden skull—valuable items for your collection.

Once you’ve explored all secrets and gathered all evidence, exit the level via the elevator’s down button.
