Cooking has been introduced to Roblox’s Grow a Garden, allowing players to combine their crops and create delicious meals for Chris P., the pig chef NPC. You can exchange the food you prepare for various rewards.
The development team has confirmed that the cooking feature will stay permanently. We will keep this guide updated with all the recipes we discover. Here’s what you need to know:
How Does Cooking Work?
You can find Chris P. and his cooking pot at the center of the map. Here, you can put crops you have by submitting them into the pot. As you add ingredients, they will show up on a chalkboard and increase a timer indicating how long the cooking process will take. Once your recipe is ready, press the large green “Cook” button to finish.
Keep in mind that heavier plants and larger ingredient quantities will require more time to cook.
Cooking Rewards
The better the points your finished dish is worth, the higher the rewards Chris P. will give. Possible rewards include:
- Large amounts of Sheckles (up to 4,2500)
- Mutation Sprays (Burnt, HoneyGlazed, Fried)
- Watering Can (speed and size boost for plants)
- Cosmetic items like Fork Fence and Pretzel Cart
- Food crates containing various items such as cakes, eggs, or pet boosts
- Reclaimers to turn plants back into seeds
- Seeds like Corn, Onion, Jalapeno, or specialized seed packs
- Pet items, including Mochi Mouse or Toy boosts
- Crop enhancements, like Advanced Sprinklers or Mutation Sprays
- Personal pet upgrades with small and medium toys
All Cooking Recipes
Players have shared numerous recipes. While endless combos exist, the most common are listed here. Many community members exchange new recipes on the official Discord server, so it’s worth checking regularly.
Note: Giving Chris P. a food item he desires can upgrade its quality—for example, turning a Normal Salad into a Rare Salad. Some foods only work if Chris P. is craving them, and others need ingredients added in a specific order.
Since the Kitchen Storm update, a Recipe Book has been added to track known recipes and their results. The update also simplified higher-tier recipes, and this guide will be updated further as new information emerges.
