Zombie enthusiasts will be excited to know that Quarantine Zone: The Last Check is now live. In this game, you play as a soldier tasked with screening new survivors for signs of the zombie virus. You’ll need your tools, sharp thinking, and a bit of luck to prevent your camp from being overrun by zombies.

While zombies are always your biggest threat, some survivors also cause trouble within the quarantine zone. One example is during the “Ask Your Mom” quest, where you need to find the artist responsible for spray-painting a poem all over the base.

Graffiti Locations

The first clue is that someone has been tagging walls with graffiti using paint to mark hidden caches. Your goal is to find six parts of the poem spread throughout the base. Luckily, the paint glows under your flashlight, making it easier to spot.

The challenge is that you must find each part in a specific order, guided only by paint-covered footsteps left by the culprit.

Graffiti Location #1

The first piece is just outside your sleeping area. When you exit your shipping container, look directly to the right of the gate. You’ll see graffiti painted on the wall above some yellow barrels and a box. Interact with it to trigger the next part of the quest.

Graffiti Location #2

From where you found the first graffiti, go out the front gate toward the area across from the garage, where the helipad and evacuation zone are. Turn left at the man in a blue hazmat suit checking the shelves, then look toward the porta-potty along the fence. Behind it, propped against the fence, you’ll find a large piece of cardboard with graffiti painted on it.

Graffiti Location #3

Proceed straight from the garage gate and head to the laboratory. Once inside, turn right and look for the large metal ventilation unit along the wall. The graffiti will be painted at its base.

Tip: The painted footsteps often lead along winding paths, so don’t feel forced to follow them exactly.

Graffiti Location #4

Return to your sleeping area and go to the back of your shipping container. The graffiti is scrawled along the back side of the container.

Graffiti Location #5

From where you sleep, move to the checkpoint where survivors are inspected. Turn left and go up the stairs into the guard tower overlooking the street. The graffiti is painted on the inside wall of the tower, where the guard would stand.

Graffiti Location #6

The last piece is at the center of the base, near the intersection of various makeshift paths. It’s along the wall to the right, leading toward the laboratory.

Finding the Artist

Once all parts of the poem are collected, you’ll need to identify who painted them. Talk to a survivor; mine was named Abe Crow, but it may vary depending on who you’ve admitted. After speaking with the survivor, you’ll be directed to speak with a scientist at the garage—the person in the blue hazmat suit organizing supplies.

The scientist will tell you what kind of paint was stolen and suggest using your flashlight to find the culprit. Head back to the camp and turn on your flashlight. Shine it on each survivor; if someone has vivid red paint on their torso and lower body, they’re the painter.

When you confront them, they may confess and ask you to look the other way for some money. You can choose to accept the bribe or report them to the scientist. It’s generally better to report them, as troublemakers in your camp aren’t worth the quick cash, especially since earning enough in the game is easy if you inspect survivors regularly.

After making your decision, you can return to the checkpoint to reassess all incoming survivors.
