Collecting the Ascension and Talent materials for Chasca in Genshin Impact is essential for maximizing her effectiveness as a primary Anemo DPS in your team compositions. Introduced in Version 5.2 alongside Ororon, Chasca plays a crucial role in the Natlan storyline. Due to leaks regarding the new version, players had the opportunity to gather some of her materials ahead of time, although these were subject to adjustments during the patch’s beta testing. The materials currently available are based on more recent leaks, which are more reliable.
Chasca is a 5-star bow user who features a unique ability known as Nightsoul Transmission, allowing her to glide in combat and unleash empowered Normal and Charged Attacks against her foes. In this way, she shares similarities with Wanderer, as both characters focus on maximizing damage through their standard attacks while airborne. Additionally, Chasca can aid exploration by flying, giving you access to hard-to-reach places and enabling fast navigation around the map. To fully utilize her capabilities, however, you’ll need to gather her Ascension materials in Genshin Impact.
Ascension Materials to Collect for Chasca in Genshin Impact
Certain Items Could Not Be Collected Before Her Release
To begin collecting Chasca’s Ascension materials, you’ll first need Vayuda Turquoise stones, as she is an Anemo character. These and other necessary materials can be found on Honey Hunter World. Vayuda Turquoise stones primarily drop from Anemo-affiliated bosses like Stormterror, Solitary Suanni, Setekh Wenut, Anemo Hypostasis, and the Tenebrous Papilla: Type I boss in Genshin Impact. Defeating the Tenebrous Papila boss starting in Version 5.2 is your best bet for obtaining Vayuda Turquoise stones, as it also drops another crucial Ascension material for Chasca.

Another material needed for Chasca’s Ascension is Ensnaring Gaze, which drops from the Tenebrous Papila boss. You won’t require many copies of this item, but you’ll have to defeat the boss multiple times to obtain everything. Since this boss was introduced in Version 5.2, it couldn’t be farmed before Chasca’s launch in Genshin Impact.
Chasca’s Ascension also requires Withering Purpurbloom, a Local Specialty that came with Version 5.2 and the new areas in the Natlan region. According to Honey Hunter World, this item is found in an area named Ochkanatlan. As a Local Specialty, Withering Purpurbloom regenerates every 48 hours in real time after being collected from the map.
Like Ensnaring Gaze, Withering Purpurbloom could not be farmed prior to the release of Version 5.2, as it is part of the content introduced in Genshin Impact.
Lastly, you’ll also need Juvenile Fang, Seasoned Fang, and Tyrant’s Fang to complete Chasca’s Ascension. These materials come from Saurian enemies throughout Natlan. They’re relatively easy to collect, given the abundance of Saurian enemies; you can refer to the official interactive map on HoYoLAB to locate them.
As always, Mora will also be needed for the Ascension process. You will need a total of 420,000 Mora to navigate through all level thresholds. Additionally, if leveling up Chasca using Character EXP Materials, you will need an extra 1,637,400 Mora to take her to level 90. You can obtain Mora through Blossom of Wealth activities. If you aim to farm Mora and also need Chasca’s Fang materials, be sure to challenge the Blossoms of Wealth in Natlan, where you’ll encounter Saurian enemies.
Talent Materials to Gather for Chasca in Genshin Impact
All Items Can Be Pre-Farmed
While focusing on Ascension is crucial, enhancing Chasca’s Talents is equally important to fully unlock her capabilities. As previously noted, Chasca’s Talent materials include Juvenile Fang, Seasoned Fang, and Tyrant’s Fang, but you will need a significantly higher quantity for Talents than for Ascension. Continue farming Saurian enemies throughout Natlan for these materials.
The table below lists all the materials required to max out all three of Chasca’s Talents in Genshin Impact:

The Talent books used by Chasca, as noted on Honey Hunter World, are categorized under Conflict. Teachings of Conflict, Guide to Conflict, and Philosophies of Conflict can be found in the Blazing Ruins Domain in Natlan, but only on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. These are also the same materials required for Kachina in Genshin Impact. Preparing a large quantity of Conflict books will take significant time, so you should plan on farming the Blazing Ruins Domain over several days.

Genshin Impact 5.2 Leaks: New Imaginarium Theater Rewards Are Beyond Lackluster
Recent leaks indicate disappointing new rewards for the Imaginarium Theater in Genshin Impact 5.2.
Referring to Honey Hunter World, Chasca requires Silken Feather as a weekly boss material. You can obtain this item by defeating the Knave boss in Genshin Impact. The drop of Silken Feather isn’t always guaranteed, as the Knave may provide two other Talent materials. For additional Silken Feather, you can convert those other materials at an Alchemy Table using a Dream Solvent. Each of Chasca’s Talents also requires three Crowns of Insight. These exclusive materials can be acquired from limited-time events, the Reputation system, and Paimon’s Bargains.
Lastly, upgrading Chasca’s Talents demands a substantial amount of Mora. To fully elevate her abilities, you will need close to 5 million Mora. You can always gather Mora through Blossom of Wealth activities across Teyvat, but it’s advisable to focus on farming in Natlan to collect other local materials simultaneously.
All in all, gathering materials for Chasca is quite manageable. With just two exceptions of items that couldn’t be pre-farmed before her debut, most materials have been available for a significant period, so there’s a good chance you already own some of them. The sooner you begin collecting her materials, the quicker you can develop Chasca’s build in Genshin Impact and leverage her as your primary DPS character.
