Understanding the Chant Mechanic

To unleash the power of Chant, you first need to unlock it. This requires upgrading the purple skill branch—Technique. Specifically, you must invest Stat Points into Technique Awaken, Technique Increase 1, and Technique Increase 2. This will take some time, as leveling up and gathering enough Stat Points is essential. Additionally, you need to invest in Focus Awaken to access focus tokens.

Once you’ve accomplished this and unlocked Chanting, you can use it in battles similarly to Black Flash. Start by dealing some damage to your foes to build up at least one focus token, then use it to amplify your strike. A focus token appears as a purple line divided into three sections above your health bar. When you have at least one charge, right-click followed by the button assigned to the attack you wish to enhance.
