Pokemon Go keeps introducing fresh events every season, each with its own distinct theme and set of benefits. This season, called Might and Mastery, is launching the Stunning Styles Event, a limited-time occasion showcasing various Pokemon with different appearances or styles.

The Stunning Styles Event will take place over five days, starting from Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 10 AM local time, and concluding on Monday, April 7, 2025, at 8 PM local time. During this event, players can expect new Pokemon to debut, exclusive releases, and numerous in-game bonuses. The following guide provides all the details you need on these features.

How To Obtain Paldean Tauros In Pokemon Go

Paldean Tauros will make its first appearance in Pokemon Go during this event. It comes in three forms: Combat Breed, Blaze Breed, and Aqua Breed; each with its own type.

In Pokemon Go, you can encounter one of these forms depending on your region. Below is a table outlining each form and the corresponding region where you can find it.

During this event, you’ll also have the chance to battle Paldean Tauros in its own Three-Star Raid, defeating it to catch it.

Stunning Styles Event Bonuses

During the Stunning Styles Event, there will be two main bonuses for all players, provided at no cost. The first bonus offers double XP for each Pokemon you catch during this event.

The second bonus offers better chances of encountering both Shiny West Sea Shellos and Shiny East Sea Shellos. You can find these in One-Star Raids and as research rewards during the event.

Event Wild Encounter Pokemon

Several Pokemon will appear more frequently in the wild during this event, all reflecting its theme. These include:

• Castform (Normal, Sunny, Rainy, and Snowy Forms)
• Burmy (Plant, Sandy, and Trash Cloak)

Event Raid Pokemon

Event Research

A Striking Shadow Special Research Story

A new Special Research Story will be available for all players who log into Pokemon Go starting Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 10 AM local time, titled A Striking Shadow. Make sure to complete the tasks associated with this Special Research, which offer various rewards, including an encounter with Marshadow, a Mythical Pokemon.

Free Timed Research

During this event, players will receive free Timed Research, which will require you to complete specific in-game tasks before the end of the Stunning Styles Event. Satisfying these tasks will reward you with:

• Encounters with Clamperl, Espurr, and Morpeko.
• Ten Kubfu Candy.
• One extra Candy for catching Pokemon (after completing this Timed Research).
• A higher chance of getting Candy XL when catching Pokemon (after completing this Timed Research).

Paid Timed Research

Players can unlock additional Timed Research for the Stunning Styles Event for a cost of $2.00 USD through the in-game shop. Completing the tasks associated with this Paid Timed Research will yield various in-game items and rewards, detailed below:

• Four Premium Battle Passes.
