Rolling for Characters in Madoka Magica Magia Exedra
When you play Madoka Magica Magia Exedra, you can roll for free to earn many characters for battle. You’ll find powerful Magical Girls and their Kioku ready to join you.
Each character has unique stats, skills, and tier rankings. If you’re not satisfied with your initial party, you can reroll to create your ideal team of Magical Girls.
Pull With Your Free Crystals Before Deciding to Reroll
Play The Tutorial Until You Return To The Lighthouse
When you first download and start Madoka Magica Magia Exedra, you will go through a tutorial where A-Q teaches you the game’s features. You will learn about the Lighthouse, story progression, and how to pull for characters.
After you finish Rose Garden Witch Part 1-4, you will return to the Lighthouse. This is when you can start rerolling for characters. Use the Fate Weave menu at the bottom of the screen for pulling.
Pull For Guaranteed Five-Star Characters
You will have enough free diamonds for a ten-pull on the standard Magica Key banner and a ten-pull on the Magica Stones banner. After a certain number of rolls, you are often guaranteed an S+ rank character, making it easier to find good characters early on.
You will receive 30 pulls total, including at least one five-star character and two four-star characters. The rest will be a mix of three and four-star characters, as the game limits the number of five-star characters you get right away. It’s important to choose your five-star character wisely.
Also, consider the four-star pulls since they will be more common later. You will need one good Breaker and one good Attacker to deal effective damage in battles, while the other roles are helpful but not essential.
Restart If You’re Unhappy With Your Roster
If you are satisfied with your character pulls, continue playing. However, if you want better five-star characters, you can reroll. Some players choose to delete their account and start over.
To do this, go to the settings in the top-right corner next to your gift inbox. Select Delete Account from the left menu. Confirm your decision, and you can create a new account immediately.
In the new account, you can speed through the tutorial faster. When you return to the Lighthouse again, you can perform another set of free pulls for new Magical Girls and Kioku. Repeat this until you’re happy with your starting roster.
Which Characters Should You Aim For?
Check the five-star banner to see which Kioku are currently available. You have a limited number of free pulls on a banner that usually costs real money, so use your free pulls wisely on these strong characters!
You will earn enough gems as login bonuses to keep pulling on this banner for the first few days. Make sure to keep pulling for these characters daily, but lock in your decision based on which five-star you get on your first day.
Madoka Kaname is one of the best characters you can get, as a Light Breaker who can deal a lot of Breaking damage. We also recommend Homura Akemi in her “Concentrated Missile Fire” form as a Dark Attacker, or Kyoko Sakura as a Fire Attacker using her “Kugatachi” form.
Focus on building your five-star characters while grabbing four-star characters for support roles. They may be somewhat weaker, so prioritize your five-stars.
