Which Weapon Upgrades Should You Prioritize?
First, decide which weapon suits your playstyle best and focus on upgrading that one first. High On Life 2 offers options for various strategies; don’t force a weapon to fit if it doesn’t suit your way of fighting.
To make your journey easier, consider these essential upgrades first:
- Bowie’s Bone Lock – Enhances headshot damage significantly. Mastering precision aiming makes this one of the most powerful shots.
- Gus’s Slug Chunker & Cartridge Canal – Gus is great for finishing big bosses, especially those with larger hit points like Tiffany and Muppy Doo.
- Travis & Jan’s Pouch Rounds & Agony Dial – These two are the top weapons overall. Upgrading both from Jorb’s shop is a smart move for maximizing damage and efficiency in both boss fights and regular combat.
While other upgrades are helpful, focusing on these will reduce boss fight times and allow you to clear mobs more effectively.
