Every character in Dungeon Stalkers has unique strengths and weaknesses to take advantage of, but learning them all takes time. With some guidance, you can create a powerful Dungeon Stalker capable of clearing every dungeon while keeping your loot safe—assuming luck is on your side and the Witch’s Curse doesn’t turn things against you.

Nave is a strong mage who relies on spells to defeat foes. However, playing her with a slow, focused build can be challenging. We’re here to help you get started and build a caster who makes enemies run in fear.

Nave Overview

Skill Description
Magic Arrow Shoots three magical missiles that deal magic damage.
Fireball Casts a fire orb that damages enemies and nearby areas.
Tempest Sends a gust of wind to push back enemies and do minor damage.
Meditate Restores one Mana point while casting or blocking.
Mana Stone ‘Unleashed’ (Ultimate) Fires a continuous beam from your staff that hits multiple targets for damage.

Nave is an elf spellcaster who depends on magic and Mana to clear dungeon enemies. She can cast three different spells: magic missiles (similar to arrows), a fireball, and a tempest. She can also recover Mana gradually on her own but slowly. Her ultimate unleashes a powerful energy beam that can strike multiple foes when ready.

Stats to Focus On

Stat Reason to Prioritize
Intelligence Reduces spell casting time and boosts damage.
Wisdom Increases maximum Mana and lowers Mana use.
Dexterity Improves movement speed, which is essential since she moves slowly while casting.

Despite her potent spells, Nave’s slow movement and casting delay make her vulnerable in combat. Instead of pouring points into Wisdom for more Mana, invest heavily in Intelligence to reduce spell cast times and increase damage. Additionally, boosting Dexterity can help you stay mobile and avoid getting hit.

Best Runes for Solo Play

Rune Effect
Meditation Enhances Mana regeneration for more frequent spellcasting.
Conservation Lowers Mana costs for her spells.
Curse Deals 20 damage to enemies four seconds after hitting them.

Sub equipment options include:
| Rune | Effect |
|———|———|
| Fighter | Boosts melee damage when using her staff. |
| Swiftness | Speeds up skill casting when wearing cloth armor. |

Tip: If Nave has a large Mana reserve, consider replacing Curse with Vitality to boost her survivability.

Best Runes for Group DPS

Rune Effect
Tempest Increases magic damage output.
Shield Raises physical resistance.
Charge Improves ultimate gauge recovery for more frequent beam attacks.

Best Support Runes for Group Play

Rune Effect
Chant Speeds up caster skills.
Distortion Boosts damage against boss monsters.
Vitality Increases Skill Damage when Mana is above 40%.
Massacre Increases damage against normal monsters.
Rogue Reduces door opening and closing times.

Note: Feel free to swap these Runes to suit your playstyle. The key is to reduce Nave’s casting time as much as possible, since her delay is her biggest weakness. Rushing into fights with long cast times is risky, especially in PvP, so practice in Adventure Mode before facing other players to avoid losing loot due to bad moves.

Equipment for Nave

As a mage, Nave wears light cloth armor that doesn’t hinder her movement and allows for easy exploration. She wields a staff for casting and melee, but without the right gear, she can quickly find herself in trouble in cursed dungeons.

Recommended armor and weapons include:

Best Armor:
| Armor | Description |
|———|————–|
| Linen Equipment | Focuses on Mana regeneration. |
| Halo Boots | Increases movement speed, Mana Regen, and can fire Magic Missiles simultaneously, staggering targets. |
| Cotton Equipment | Boosts base Mana with each piece. |
| Wool Equipment | Speeds up spell casting; prioritize wool items. |
| Necklace/Ring of Mind | Significantly increases Max Mana. |

Best Weapons:
| Weapon | Description |
|———|————–|
| Oblivion | Legendary staff dealing 36 magical damage, summons an ice spike, and slows targets hit. |
| Staff of Strength | Better for a melee-oriented Nave, increasing Physical Damage and Strength. |

Useful Consumables and Throwables:
| Item | Description |
|———|————–|
| Mana Potion | Essential for emergency Mana restoration. |
| Invisibility Potion | Helps you retreat or reposition during fights. |
| Shock Flask | Adds electrifying effects after casting magic missiles. |
| Scrolls | Buff your party or enhance damage output as support. |

Tip: If difficulty finding good gear in the dungeon, build the Shop menu at your hideout or trade with other players to upgrade your equipment.

How to Play Nave

[Image of Nave at camp showing skills and surroundings]

Playing Nave solo requires patience and careful observation. Unlike Rene, she lacks summons to draw enemy fire, and her spells take time to cast. Her powerful magic can also cause area damage if used correctly. Always stay alert and keep moving to avoid attacks.

Use the environment to your advantage—ladders, windows, and structures can help you keep distance from monsters. During fights, stay back while tanks or melee characters like Hilda engage enemies. Cast spells carefully from behind allies and use throwables and scrolls to provide buffs and extra AoE damage.

Mastering her slow casting requires planning and positioning. Practice in Adventure Mode first to sharpen your skills and avoid costly mistakes in tougher encounters.
