In Arc Raiders, one of your best allies is a chicken named Scrappy. This bird helps by gathering basic resources such as Fabric and Chemicals while you explore and raid the wasteland. Just like workbenches, you can train Scrappy to level him up, which increases the amount of resources he collects.
To upgrade Scrappy, you’ll need a Cat Bed. Fortunately, finding a Cat Bed is easier than locating Olives and Prickly Pears, which are also used for leveling him up.
### Where to Find Cat Beds
If you’re hunting for Cat Beds, there are several good spots to check. Some of the top locations include:
– Plaza Rosa, Santa Maria House, and Piazza Arbusto in Buried City
– Pale Apartments and Ruby Residence in Dam Battlegrounds
– Village in The Blue Gate
I personally find the Village in The Blue Gate to be the most consistent place to get Cat Beds. This area is in the northwest part of the map and has many apartment buildings to search through. Every time I’ve looted this village, I’ve found at least one Cat Bed.
> Keep in mind, The Blue Gate is a late-game area with tough ARC enemies. Make sure to stock up or bring a free kit if you’re planning to loot this map!
Another good option is Buried City, which is full of Residential and Commercial loot, making it a prime spot for finding valuable items and Cat Beds. I recommend exploring the south and southeast parts of the map because these areas have many buildings. Places around Plaza Rosa and Piazza Arbusto tend to yield the most Cat Beds.
However, Buried City can be chaotic and dangerous because it’s densely packed. You’re more likely to run into conflicts with patrolling ARCs and other players, especially near Santa Maria House where a Bastion might be hiding, making it more challenging to avoid fights.
Finally, the Pale Apartments and Ruby Residence in Dam Battlegrounds are decent spots for Cat Beds. Located in the northwest corner of the map, this area isn’t marked as an official point of interest, so loot here can be hit or miss. The area is divided into several apartment buildings with many containers, bins, and cabinets that often hold useful items.
> This part of the map tends to have fewer players and ARC patrols, making it perfect if you prefer to avoid fights.
Luckily, Cat Beds are classified as Uncommon loot, so you shouldn’t have trouble finding one. Just remember, when you join a session, the area might already be looted. If that happens, you can always extract from the map and try again. Sometimes luck isn’t on your side — I know the feeling of losing a gunfight and seeing someone loot my body.
