The King Is Watching: Tips to Manage Your Kingdom
The game has many things you need to watch carefully if you want your kingdom to succeed each week. You need to keep track of resources, enemy attacks, and how you use your buildings. You can only use a limited number of buildings at a time, so choosing wisely is important.
At first, it can feel overwhelming. But with experience, you’ll learn what to focus on and what can wait. If you want to start strong and succeed early, here are some helpful tips.
Use Pause Often
It’s very useful to pause the game often. When you’re unsure about changing your setup or what troops to send out, pause the game. Take your time to make decisions, then unpause and continue. You can also change game speed to suit your needs.
Pausing helps you stay in control and plan your moves carefully before taking action.
Moving Buildings Temporarily Slows Production
Whenever you move a building into view, it will produce resources very slowly for a short time. Usually, this isn’t a big problem. But if you do it a lot, it can cause issues.
Tip
In the middle of a battle, if you need hospitals, move them into place before the fight starts. Otherwise, you may miss out on healing during the fight.
Use Up Resource Tiles
Make sure to use your resource tiles whenever possible, without hurting other parts of your kingdom’s production. As you progress, space will become limited. If you have resource tiles that are almost empty and not being used, they take up space that could be used for buildings or troops.
Save Basic Construction
It’s hard to predict where your kingdom will be weeks from now. Sometimes, you’ll run out of key resources. Saving some basic resources for construction can help prevent this problem. Hold onto a little, so you can build or repair important things when needed.
Spawn Troops to Full Capacity
Always keep the option to spawn troops at maximum capacity turned on. This way, you’ll always have a reserve force ready if your troops are attacked. Recovering from zero troops is very difficult, so it’s best to be prepared.
Note
This strategy can help you build a strong backup army with little cost. Keep it active unless you’re losing many troops regularly.
Manage Your Gaze Slots Wisely
If you have an extra gaze slot but no immediate use for it, you should fill it with resources like Wood, Wheat, or Water. These are needed in many parts of the game. Running out can cause delays or problems.
Remove Water When Necessary
You start with several water wells that give endless water. If space becomes a problem, don’t be afraid to remove these wells temporarily. You can always add them back when you need water again, at little cost.
Get a Big Well
If you sometimes need water quickly, having a Big Well can be very helpful. It produces water twice as fast as regular wells, allowing you to gather resources faster. Keep one ready for emergencies to help you win battles more easily.
