How long is Atomfall?

The time it takes to finish Atomfall is influenced by several factors, including the difficulty level (referred to as Playstyle in the game) and whether you choose to focus on a single Lead or explore multiple ones. Generally, you can expect the following playtimes:

• Complete one ending: 10-15 hours
• Explore multiple Leads: 20-25 hours
• Achieve all endings and full completion: 40+ hours

Atomfall offers a choice-driven experience, and it doesn’t guide you through the process. From the moment you decide whether to assist the Scientist upon waking in the bunker, your path is yours to forge. As you uncover Leads, you can follow various routes, but if you only concentrate on one without taking the time to explore the surroundings, you could reach an ending in about ten to twelve hours.

However, this is not the best approach, as you would miss significant story elements, crucial items, and helpful information. Instead, it’s advisable to take your time and investigate multiple Leads during your first playthrough, which could lead to a completion time closer to 20 hours.

For those who want to collect every Trophy or Achievement, expect to invest even more time. There are six different endings available, and although you can avoid playing through all six by reloading saves, you’ll still need to navigate several mutually exclusive Leads. Additionally, there are various collectibles and specific challenges to tackle, which will take at least 40 hours in total to accomplish.
