The fourth week of the ARC Raiders trial challenges has just begun. Embark Studios has put out their toughest set of challenges since the game was released, with even bigger rewards if you can complete them. Once you reach level 15 to access the trials, there’s still plenty of time to climb the rankings and earn both cosmetic items and in-game rewards before the season ends.
The rewards get more valuable as you earn more trial points, giving players extra motivation to complete the tasks beyond just bragging rights. It’s also worth noting that major map events like Night Raids, Electromagnetic Storms, and Hidden Bunkers give double experience points that count toward challenge progress. These events are the best way to quickly farm trial points.
### How to Deal Damage to Flying ARC Enemies
While the challenge to deal 4,000 damage to flying ARC enemies might seem simple at first, it actually takes some planning. Since maps are filled with flying ARC, the goal is to handle their increased requirement — specifically to take out 4,000 points worth of Wasps.
For this, the best approach is to bring a powerful weapon that uses heavy ammo, like the Anvil or Ferro, with plenty of full magazines. You’ll need to kill many flying enemies to reach the 4,000 damage mark for a three-star rating.
Speed up the process by alerting Snitches from a distance. When you do this, they call in reinforcements, summoning additional enemies—each Snitch Scanner summons two Wasps and one Hornet. You can then wipe out these groups all at once with a Wolfpack grenade or take them down one by one with your weapons.
### How to Deal Damage to Leapers
Leapers can be some of the most dangerous enemies, but they’re also some of the easiest to exploit because they often get stuck on terrain. While they tend to roam in open areas, their ability to jump at you from far away is their main weakness — you can lure them into narrow doorways or windows they can’t pass through.
Since Leapers move unpredictably, fast-firing guns like the Anvil or medium weapons that hit hard are better choices than long-range guns like Ferro. The most effective method to take them down is to throw fire grenades or use explosive devices.
Damage from one Leaper isn’t enough for the 4,000-point challenge, but you can damage a second one to meet the points for a three-star rating without needing to kill it. Sticky explosives work well, but Leapers are highly vulnerable to Blaze Grenades. Firecell Burners, dropped from fireballs, are also very effective — targeting the head or legs while they are burning.
### How to Damage Queens or Matriarchs
Even if you’re experienced fighting The Queen, it’s recommended to try defeating The Matriarch for this challenge. Since The Queen’s Harvester isn’t present during this fight, fewer players may try to interfere with you, making it easier to complete.
Other raiders can still cause trouble, so bringing a secondary weapon suitable for player-versus-player combat is advised. The Matriarch can chase you from a farther distance if you’re not holding a steady position, but you can lure her closer to good cover spots like the walkways at Dam Battlegrounds.
Weak points include the leg joints and vents under her head — targeting the vents can expose her core, causing more damage. Have plenty of ammo, Hullcrackers, and Wolfpack Grenades ready to manage the summoned enemies and chip away at her health. ### How to Farm Plant Harvesting Points
To earn the 4,000 points for plant harvesting, avoid focusing on common resources like Apricots or Lemons, as these usually don’t count for the challenge. Instead, hunt specifically for harvestable materials such as Mushrooms, Agave, and especially Great Mullein, which is the most reliable for this challenge.
Plants tend to spawn near rivers, plant beds, and inside buildings. Since plant resources are limited and often contested during night maps, bringing plenty of Adrenaline Shots helps you move faster across the map.
Great Mullein can often be found in places like the Galleria in Buried City during Night Rides, but it’s usually picked clean or guarded by enemies. You only need to gather eight of these for a three-star completed challenge. Patience and map knowledge are key.
### How to Collect ARC Probe Points
While the Prospecting Probes event might seem like the best way to gather ARC Probes — due to their abundance on the map — your best strategy is actually to play during a Night Raid in the Electromagnetic Storm event. That’s when the most crashed Probe remnants are scattered across the area, making it easier to reach the 4,000 points needed for a three-star rating.
Looting six ARC Probes will give you enough points to complete the challenge, or just three if you’re doing a Night Raid. Be aware that other players can make the challenge more difficult because opening probes makes loud noises and can attract enemies. To stay safe, carry Lure Grenades and Smoke Grenades to hide yourself or your team while completing this task.
Good planning and map awareness will help you finish these challenges efficiently, so gear up properly and stay alert. Good luck!
