Some of the quests in ARC Raiders occur in the later parts of the game, where you might need to explore the most dangerous areas or gather rare materials. However, there are also quests that bring you back to the starting point, like the Dam Battlegrounds. One example is the “Water Troubles” mission from Celeste, which requires you to visit the base of the Dam Battlegrounds to earn rewards.
When you complete the “Water Troubles” quest, you’ll receive Mechanical Components, three Basic Gun Parts, and three Steel Springs. The main benefit of finishing this quest is access to new loot locations in subsequent missions. Keep in mind, you must complete all three parts of the quest in one round, but you don’t have to survive the entire raid to turn it in afterward.
### How to Find the Flood Access Tunnel and Water Sample
To finish the quest, go to the emptied lake southeast of the massive dam walls. You might spawn at Red Lake Bern, but most likely you’ll need to cross the map, avoiding enemy patrols and hostile players along the way.
Once you reach the dam, go to the lowest level before the structure starts to rise—look for a marked spot on the map above. You’ll find a large pipe opening in the concrete barrier. A notification will pop up to guide you if you’re close to the right spot.
Climb into the pipe, and eventually, you’ll see a highlighted supply pipe in a muddy water pool. Interact to collect a water sample and complete the quest.
The task is simple, but since you’re near the Control Tower and other barriers, enemies can easily spot you. If you find it difficult to stay alive, try doing the quest during an ARC Raiders Night Raid when enemy activity is lower.
### What to Look for While You’re in the Area
While there isn’t much else to the “Water Troubles” quest, it drops you right in front of one of the best fruit gathering spots in ARK Raiders. Head toward the edge of the map near the Raider Hatch, and you’ll find plenty of Apricot trees ready for harvest.
You can also find a few Prickly Pears around here, although they’re easier to miss because they grow on the ground near cacti.
Collecting Apricots and Prickly Pears helps upgrade Scrappy the Chicken. Gathering both during this raid is a good way to boost your supplies, especially if you’re planning to escape through the nearby Raider Hatch after completing your mission.
