Once you’ve played through many missions and improved your inventory in ARC Raiders, one key part of the late game is farming for Blueprints. It can seem a bit slow at first to find all 68 Blueprints, but the game offers plenty of ways to speed up this process and get your workshop fully upgraded.
Aside from deciding your farming routes, choosing the right skills can make a big difference in how efficiently you gather loot, especially through the Survival skill tree. If you’ve put many points into Survival, you should prioritize unlocking the Security Breach ability. This skill increases your chances of finding high-value Blueprints and other loot from security crates on a consistent basis.
Where to Find Blueprints in ARC Raiders
Before you start farming specifically for Blueprints, you need to know where they might be. Blueprints can be found in almost every container in the game, but they’re most common inside Raider containers, high-value zones, and any locked rooms you come across.
Different Raider crates have different chances of dropping certain types of loot. For example, Weapon Cases tend to contain weapons, grenades, and attachments, while Blue Gate Boxes are more likely to have Augments.
While high-value zones do have a better chance of giving you rare loot like Blueprints, the danger level there isn’t worth the risk if your main goal is farming efficiently. Instead, focus on these containers:
- Raider Caches
- Weapon Crates
- Backpacks & Duffel Bags
- Raider Storage Containers
- Locked Rooms with Keys
- Breaching Rooms
- Zipline Rooms
- High-Value Zones
Keep in mind, each map has specific locations where Raider Containers spawn. They don’t appear randomly everywhere. These containers come in various shapes and sizes—small bags, large green crates, cylindrical containers, black boxes—but the chance of finding Blueprints remains high across all of them.
Tips for Farming Blueprints
A useful tip is to bring the Looting Mk. 2 augment. It gives you two extra Safe Pockets, which can help you grab at least two Blueprints per run—even if you get eliminated early.
Besides the general Blueprints that spawn randomly, some Blueprints are only obtainable through certain missions. For example, the Lure Grenade, Trigger Grenade, and Hullcracker weapons or ammo are tied to specific progression rewards. Additionally, the Blueprints for the Jupiter and Equalizer weapons can sometimes be looted during the Harvester event.
If you happen to get duplicate Blueprints, don’t worry. Each one sells for about 5,000 credits, which can be super helpful for accumulating more loot value during your expedition runs.
Best Areas to Farm for Blueprints
There isn’t one perfect farming route, but Buried City is probably the best map for finding Blueprints. This map has several Raider crates and Weapon Cases close together. The southern part, with its houses and apartments, is filled with loot, but the northwest starting area is your best bet for beginning your run.
From there, you can find two Metal Crates and a locked Weapon Case, where the chance of getting Blueprints is surprisingly high given its remote location. From this starting point, you can head south to other spawn points.
Don’t overlook containers like cabinets, lockers, and drawers—they can often hide valuable loot, especially behind breachable walls. Moving around the city in a circle, you’ll pass through various apartments, shops, and caches that many other players skip, so you might find some hidden Blueprints.
For easier loot, Dam Battlegrounds also has plenty of breachable rooms with less enemy presence. A hidden Raider stash can be accessed through a destroyed highway on the northeastern side, and the map’s walkway and control room are excellent spots for loot—especially since you can vault into the control room window without a key.
Another solid map for farming is Blue Gate because it has many crates evenly spread across its area. However, avoid crowded zones and stay away from the underground tunnels due to high-level enemies prowling there.
Which Enemy Is Best for Blueprints?
Most enemies don’t drop Blueprints, but the ARC Surveyor is the notable exception. They frequently drop Blueprints and are easily spotted because they send out a large blue laser into the air while scanning. These enemies are vulnerable when they scan, giving you a chance to attack them. After taking damage, Surveyors dash away quickly, so using movement or stunning gadgets helps you catch them.
Weekly Trials can also reward Blueprints for progression, adding to your motivation to complete them regularly.
Farming Blueprints in ARC Raiders can take time, but using the right spots, skills, and enemies makes it more efficient. Keep an eye out, stay prepared, and you’ll be upgrading your workshop in no time!
