In ARC Raiders, the gun shop trader, Tian Wen, gives you a quest called “Market Correction.” In this quest, you need to investigate a suspicious cache in the Buried City. The instructions are pretty vague, similar to the “Straight Record” quest, so it’s easy to miss the target if you’re not careful.
You can complete “Market Correction” alone, and you don’t have to successfully extract afterward. If your goal is just to finish the quest without worrying about looting or other tasks, using a basic or budget loadout should be enough to get through it.
Where to Find the Cache Near Marano Station
Near the North End of the Station
The cache is located near Marano Station’s north end, just east of the platform, next to a concrete structure. On the map, there’s a blue marker pointing right on top of the spot. The cache blends into the surrounding structure and looks like two connected cylindrical containers with a red ribbon tied around them.
Once you find the cache, there are two simple steps:
- Hold the interact button to examine it.
- Use the same button to sabotage the cache.
After completing these steps, return to Speranza and talk to Tian Wen to receive your reward, which includes:
- Silencer II
- Extended Light Mag I
- Compensator I
Tips & Tricks for the Market Correction Quest
Get In and Out Quickly if Needed
The Buried City map is denser than the others, making it more likely you’ll run into enemies while doing this quest. Luckily, Marano Station is somewhat off to the northwest, making the trip a bit easier. Here are some helpful tips:
- Carry adrenaline injectors to run longer without losing stamina. If just completing the quest is your main goal, you can rush straight there but try to avoid attracting ARC’s attention.
- Watch for big ARC robots south of Marano Station. Leapers and Bastions are common around Marano Park.
- Bring a Raider Hatch Key if you want a quick escape. There’s a Raider Hatch near Marano Station close to the cache location.
- Go solo and take a basic loadout if all you want is to finish the quest. If you get eliminated, you only lose a few minutes.
- Extraction isn’t required to complete the quest. You can do it at the start of your run to save time.
Final Thoughts
ARC Raiders’ quests usually lead you to interesting spots and require you to find unique items. Although the directions, like “Near Marano Station,” are vague, the rest of the quest is quite straightforward. Once you’ve completed it, you’re free to move on to other missions and activities in ARC Raiders.
