You can find the Dog Collar on different maps, including the first Dam Battlegrounds in damaged apartment buildings to the north. However, maps with dedicated residential zones, like the Buried City, make searching for it much easier. Mainly, focus on looting areas in the southeast, away from the southwest apartment complex, for better chances.
Where To Find Lemons & Apricots In ARC Raiders
After gathering the Dog Collar, you’ll want to collect items in larger batches to boost Scrappy’s gathering speed. The next materials are 3 Lemons and 3 Apricots. Unlike most materials in the game, these are only found outdoors by searching beneath certain trees and interacting with them to gather extras.
You’ll find Lemons and Apricots in outdoor areas. For Apricots, a good spot is the open lakes on the southeast side of the Dam. In this area, each fruit tree might give you 1 to 2 apricots, and it’s also a great place to find Prickly Pears needed for later upgrades. The first reliable spot for Lemons appears later, in the park of the New District in the Buried City, where there are plenty of trees.
To make farming easier, look out for the ‘Lush Blooms Event’. This event can happen on any map, and when active, special Basket containers filled with valuable food items appear. This can speed up your farming or provide extra resources to sell.
Where To Find Prickly Pears, Olives, & Cat Beds In ARC Raiders
Prickly Pears are found on most maps, but the Dam Battlegrounds has some reliable spots. These fruits grow on or near cacti and are easy to spot on the ground around them—however, unlike trees, they can’t be harvested for more Pears.
Olives are mainly found on Blue Gate, especially at the Olive Farm, which is very productive but also highly contested. While exploring Blue Gate, check the north residential buildings for Cat Beds, which might spawn there or in other residential or commercial loot spots. Since Blue Gate is one of the toughest locations before its next update, it’s a good idea to use a free loadout to avoid losing resources when farming for Scrappy’s materials.
Where To Find Mushrooms, Apricots, & Very Comfortable Pillows In ARC Raiders
To upgrade Scrappy further, you’ll need to collect more food and items like Mushrooms and Comfortable Pillows. You can find Mushrooms in the marshes south of Dam Battlegrounds, where they grow on trees and logs. The Water Treatment Building’s corridors also have mushrooms growing on pipes above head level. Another good spot is just north of the gas well, where mushrooms grow in similar places and in the waters of hydroponic labs.
Although it’s hard to see any visual growth indicator for Scrappy’s progress, you can use Raider Tokens—often given for free after server issues—to buy him a new hat. This adds a fun touch and helps showcase your upgraded pet as a strong companion in ARC Raiders.
