Initially, I found this category a bit challenging as I thought FACE might relate to TONGUE in a different way. However, I soon realized that HEEL pertains to the back part of the shoe, while TONGUE is a component found inside the shoe itself. Once I considered the SOLE and UPPER parts, the rest of this category fell into place.

Green Answers: Revealed & Explained

ACCOMMODATION
CAPACITY	CHAIRS	ROOM	SEATING

ROOM is a term with a narrow definition, referring either to a physical space or the capacity to accommodate people. This led me to choose CHAIRS and SEATING as the next words in this category, as it seemed people were preparing ROOM for a larger event. To complete this section, I recognized the need for enough CAPACITY to hold everyone in a ROOM for whatever event is being organized.

This segment of the puzzle was the easiest for me to solve, mainly because I connected FACE to the idea of “saving face.” This notion about reputation was already on my mind as someone typically aims to protect their IMAGE or STANDING in society. To find the last word, I considered how people often hold others in high or low REGARD, which aligns with this category’s theme.

Purple Answers: Revealed & Explained

ENDING WITH SYNONYMS FOR “YUCK”
DYNASTY	ENGROSS	GIMMICK	MILDEW

This is likely the most challenging segment of the puzzle since terms like GIMMICK and DYNASTY have very specific definitions. One common trend I observed among these words was their endings. DYNASTY concludes with “nasty,” while GIMMICK finishes with “ick.” In a similar way, ENGROSS ends with “gross,” and MILDEW concludes with “ew,” providing the sole connection between the concepts to complete the puzzle.
