Some buildings produce faster than others, and understanding this can help you plan better—sometimes you’ll need more of one building than another to keep things running efficiently.

Luckily, your initial production chains are already optimized for efficiency. When you build your Oat Farm and Porridge Stand, they work perfectly on a 1:1 ratio. The same goes for other pairs like the Fishing Hut and Hemp Farm, or the Timbercutter and Sawmill. Both parts in these pairs take about the same time—say, 30 seconds—to produce goods, so they operate at the same speed.
