Alternative Ways to Obtain Vine Rope

In Pokémon Pokopia, you’ll spend a good amount of time gathering supplies and crafting to make as many Pokémon happy as possible. To do this, you need to explore carefully and plan your moves. It’s important to know where to find specific materials. One key item is Vine Rope, which is useful for many crafting recipes.

There are two main ways to get Vine Rope in the game. The most common and easiest method is to find it lying on the ground near trees in grassy areas with lots of shade. You’ll often see several on each visit, especially if you haven’t looked recently.

The second way is to cut vines growing along cliffs and inside caves. Approach a hanging vine and use the Cut ability to chop it down. This will give you Vine Rope that you can pick up. Keep in mind that cutting vines can sometimes lead to climbing higher areas, so before chopping, check if the vines lead somewhere useful or if they can be safely cut without blocking your path.

Sometimes, Pokémon will give you Vine Rope as a thank you gift for taking good care of their homes and providing comfort. This isn’t a primary way to get it, but it can help when you’re short.

Once you’ve gathered enough Vine Rope, you’re ready to focus on crafting or exploring more of Pokémon Pokopia. If you’re interested, you might also want to learn how to obtain Lumber, another useful resource in the game.
