In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, you will encounter ten White Nevrons. Interacting with these characters will assign you specific tasks or quests linked to their respective areas. You can start finding them as early as the first mission and continue through Act 3. Completing these quests rewards you with valuable loot, including unique weapons and upgrade materials. In Act 3, you can speak to the final White Nevron, named Blanche, to receive one of two rewards based on your decisions throughout the game.

As you navigate the different regions of Clair Obscur, you’ll run into these peaceful White Nevrons, who offer optional side quests. These tasks usually involve gathering a specific item or material found nearby as you progress through the area. You’ll notice the first Nevron early during Act 1, with nine more scattered across the rest of the continent. Make sure to explore all optional areas to find collectibles, such as Expedition journal entries and unique records within Clair Obscur.

Finding all the White Nevrons in the game requires exploring many optional areas, including the Small Bourgeon area, which is specifically dedicated to one Nevron, as well as locations like Red Woods and Stone Quarry. The game contains numerous optional areas, and I strongly recommend exploring them to gather upgrade materials and weapons.

When completing the White Nevron side quests, remember that you have the choice to fight them; however, it’s generally best to avoid combat for the time being. Completing the associated tasks will help you earn the "Aiding the Enemy" trophy or achievement.

Choosing to spare the White Nevrons is advantageous, as Blanche will reward you with 100 Colour of Lumina. This substantial amount enhances your passive Lumina effects, far exceeding the rewards from killing individual Nevrons. While the smaller upgrade materials you receive from killing them could be considered valuable, you can find plenty of other sources for these materials early on. Therefore, sparing the Nevrons for a larger payoff in Act 3 is the better strategy.

After collecting the 100 Colour of Lumina from Blanche, you can revisit and fight each of the White Nevrons to gain their individual rewards. This strategy allows you to maximize your gains, ensuring you acquire all possible rewards, even if you need to wait until Act 3. Overall, sparing the White Nevrons is a wise choice, as the 100 Colour of Lumina proves extremely useful going into Act 3 and into your next playthrough in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
