2025 was an outstanding year for gamers. Whatever type of game you like, there was plenty to enjoy along with many surprises. Looking ahead to 2026, the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled for release, but don’t let that overshadow the rest of the year’s lineup.

Our calendar might seem quite empty right now, but don’t worry. We’ll keep updating it throughout the year with the latest announcements, delays, reviews, and release dates. For the first time, we’re including tabletop game releases, such as upcoming Magic: The Gathering sets. Bookmark this page and check back regularly for new updates on game launches.

As the year wraps up, we’ve adjusted the calendar to reflect moved dates and added a few new titles that have appeared. We’ll continue updating this list as new games are announced and some are delayed. Keep checking back to stay informed about upcoming video games and tabletop releases for 2026.

January

January brings a variety of titles. RPG enthusiasts should watch for The Legend of Heroes: Trails Beyond The Horizon. Horror fans can look forward to Pathologic 3, Brokenlore: Unfollow, and I Hate This Place. Fans of challenging gameplay might try Code Vein 2, a souls-like game. Other notable releases include the RTS city builder Nova Roma and the extraction shooter The Midnight Walkers.

February

February already looks promising with the quirky strategy roguelike Mewgenics, the sequel Nioh 3, and the next Resident Evil installment, Requiem. Other remasters include Deus Ex and Dragon Quest 7, alongside the sequel High on Life. Additionally, Yakuza Kiwami 3 will be released along with the new Dark Ties expansion.
