All Mega Evolution Pokémon in Mega Dimension & How To Solve Them in Pokémon Legends: Z-A

Mega Scovillain

Type: Grass/Fire
It can be found in Grass or Fire Hyperspace Wild Zones, where players can catch it.

In the game, Mega Scovillain appears in a random 2-star Unknown Hyperspace Dimension with an “Unidentified Mega Stone Detected!” message. After defeating it, players receive the Mega Stone necessary for Mega Evolution.

Mega Glimmora

Type: Rock/Poison
Glimmora can appear in Rock or Poison Hyperspace Wild Zones and can be caught there.

It appears in a 4-star Unknown Hyperspace Dimension with an “Unidentified Mega Stone Detected!” message. Once defeated in hyperspace battles, players earn the Mega Stone for Mega Evolution.

Mega Absol Z

Type: Dark/Ghost
This Mega Evolution is guaranteed after the Rogue Mega Evolution battle, which is part of the main story.

Players receive it as a reward after completing the main story segment tied to the Rogue Mega Evolution battle. You can’t unlock this early; it’s obtained after story completion.

Mudkip, Marshtomp, and Swampert are found in Water and Ground Hyperspace Wild Zones.

Swampertite can be obtained during Online Ranked Battles Season 6.

After defeating it in a 3-star Unknown Hyperspace Dimension marked “Unidentified Mega Stone Detected!”, players receive the Mega Stone.

Caught in Psychic Hyperspace Wild Zones, both Meowstic and Chimecho can be obtained.

Found in Psychic Hyperspace Wild Zones, Chimecho is catchable there.

It appears in a 2-star Unknown Hyperspace Dimension with an “Unidentified Mega Stone Detected!” message.

Pichu, Pikachu, and Raichu can be caught across various Wild Zones and Hyperspace Wild Zones.

Raichu X appears in a Hyperspace Side Mission near Map Zone 20, available after completing specific story and trade Side Missions. You need to trade Canari Bread for Popping Candy, then bring it to Ansha for the Plasma Donut recipe to unlock the encounter.

Mega Raichu Y

Similar to Raichu X, Pichu, Pikachu, and Raichu can be caught in various zones.

Rewarded after defeating the main story battle, with no early access.

Found in Fighting or Ice Hyperspace Wild Zones.

During the Rogue Mega Showdown (Side Mission 141), players face two Crabominables and earn the Mega Stone after victory.

Mega Lucario Z

Type: Fighting/Steel
Riolu and Lucario appear in various locations. Riolu is on rooftops, Lucario in Wild Zone 20.

During the Side Mission 197, you can earn Lucarionite Z by defeating the boss Korinna’s Lucario using your own. It requires completing The Greatest Gift main story and catching Rayquaza first.

Mega Heatran

Type: Fire/Steel
Encountered during a specific story event that is unlocked after catching Groudon and Kyogre, and earning 100,000 Hyperspace Points.

Story-locked, reachable after completing The Greatest Gift, which is unlocked after catching Groudon and Kyogre, and gathering 100,000 Hyperspace Points.

It doesn’t require a Mega Stone; it evolves using ‘Dragon Ascent’. The battle is part of the main story.

Can be caught in Side Mission 195: Restarting Magearna. The Magearnite Mega Stone is awarded during this mission.
