Playing Raccoin raises questions about how much luck and skill are needed to succeed. This game is a roguelike where your chances of winning become more challenging as you progress. It’s inspired by coin pushing machines, which rely heavily on randomness that can either favor or hinder you.
The key factor in your performance is the difficulty level you choose. In Raccoin, these levels are represented by tickets. Each ticket not only increases the challenge but also adds a debuff or special effect that makes your runs harder. Here’s an overview of all the difficulty levels in Raccoin.
There are eight difficulty levels, and they build upon each other. For example, the Blue Ticket difficulty includes the effects of the previous levels plus additional challenges like increased shop prices and specific shop effects.
Difficulty Levels and What They Do:
-
Green Ticket: This is the default difficulty that’s available from the start; it’s the standard gameplay mode.
-
Crispy Ticket: Every Copper, Silver, and Gold coin you put in has a 10% chance of turning into a Cooinkie, a coin with no value.
-
Blue Ticket: Prices in the shop increase by 20% each time you reroll. However, this penalty resets each round.
-
Orange Ticket: Limits your Clip Expansion. You will have one less expansion slot, with the maximum being five instead of six.
-
Wizard Ticket: The coins you get can be BadBad or Demonic. BadBad coins can’t be converted or used with other effects, and Demonic coins have a 66.6% chance to respawn after use.
-
Evil Ticket: The shop can now include Rust Coins, which are unchangeable and cannot be modified or scored.
-
Moo Ticket: You start each round with a Sturdy Fence that acts as an unremovable physical barrier.
-
Golden Ticket: You will have one fewer coin available for purchase in the shop each round.
Keep in mind that every higher difficulty level retains all the effects of the previous ones and adds new challenges, making the game progressively tougher.
