Roblox’s Rune Slayer debuted with a rich array of content, and the continuing updates keep adding new quests and items for players to explore. Among the most coveted weapons in the game is the Viridian, a remarkable Legendary sword boasting impressive stats. Its value is heightened by its unique ability to weaken enemies by lowering their Defense, making it a challenging weapon to contend with in battles.
However, getting your hands on this elusive sword isn’t straightforward, as its drop rate is exceptionally low. Players will require a mix of patience, strategy, and a sprinkle of luck to obtain this weapon. This guide will detail the most effective methods to acquire the Viridian sword in Rune Slayer.
Where To Find The Viridian Sword
Most rare weapons in Rune Slayer are dropped by bosses, making them hard to come by. Fortunately, the Legendary Viridian is somewhat easier to claim; all you need to do is head to the Goblin Caves. This location is near Wayshire and is accessible for newer players, though it can be easy to overlook.
To locate the caves, start at Mandrake’s Farm, head northeast around the rock on your right, then continue east along the rock until you see the entrance. Be cautious; Goblins are formidable foes, and it’s wise for players to be at least level 15 before entering. Be ready for a challenge before you go inside.
How To Get The Viridian
Once you reach the Goblin Caves in Rune Slayer, the real task begins: you’ll need to farm Goblins until the Viridian drops. Any Goblin in this area can potentially drop this Legendary sword, but the drop rate is less than 1%, so patience and persistence will be crucial.
As a Legendary weapon, Viridian stands as one of the strongest swords in the game. However, only players at level 40 or above can equip it. Here are the benefits it provides:
- Physical Damage: 15
- Strength: +15
- Stamina: +6
- Crit Chance: +1%
- Physical Pierce: +3%
- Ability: Attacks have a small chance to inflict Blighted, which reduces an enemy’s Defense by 5% for 5 seconds.
