Every year, the gaming industry hosts numerous conventions and events, and 2025 looks to be no different. From gatherings dedicated to specific games like Magic or Dungeons & Dragons to larger fan conventions happening worldwide, there’s likely a gaming event near you.
Sorting out which events are where and when can sometimes be tricky, but that’s what this guide is for. We’ve put together a calendar that we plan to update regularly all year long to help you find gaming conventions or events in your area.

The Biggest Gaming Events in January
January kicks off with CES (Consumer Electronics Show), happening the first week, showcasing all the new tech and gaming-related innovations coming in 2025 and beyond. Later in the month, the 14th Annual New York Game Awards takes place in New York City.
