The Layl series will take a break during Ramadan and will resume after the holy month concludes. But when will the Arabic version of this Turkish series stop airing?
Rumors circulated on social media yesterday, suggesting that the series paused at episode 32 and would pick up again after Ramadan 2026. However, the latest episode was released on Tuesday night at 8 p.m. local time in Saudi Arabia.
Layl is adapted from the Turkish drama “Safirin Kizi” [The Ambassador’s Daughter], which originally aired in 2019.
As Ramadan is anticipated to begin on Thursday, February 19, the final episode of the series is expected to air on Wednesday, February 18. The show, based on the Turkish original, will be back after the end of the fasting month.
Earlier, the MBC Shahid platform announced that the Arabic version of the series would be titled “Layl.” The first episode premiered on January 4th at 8 p.m. in Saudi Arabia.
About the series:
The storyline revolves around the romance between the daughter of an ambassador and a man from a humble background. Their love faces numerous obstacles due to their circumstances, but they eventually reunite years later, reigniting the love they once had.
