Digital Phablet – The British music duo Bob Vylan has stirred social media with their bold performance at Glastonbury Festival, where they raised chants like “free Palestine” and “death to the IDF,” citing the ongoing violence in Gaza since October 7, 2023.
Their live set, covered extensively by the BBC, ignited diverse reactions across social media from both pro-Palestinian and pro-Israeli groups.
While several pro-Palestinian advocates commended Bob Vylan for their vocal support, the pro-Israel group ‘StopAntisemitism’ called on U.S. authorities to revoke the duo’s visas, aiming to stop them from performing in the U.S.

The tweet captured the attention of U.S. officials, including civil rights attorney Leo James Terrell and Congressman Randy Fine, both of whom shared their intent to seek the revocation of Bob Vylan’s visa.
StopAntisemitism posted on X, urging, “This individual must have his visa denied—his hate has no place here,” while tagging Fine and Terrell.
Terrell later reiterated his stance, saying, “The chants by Bob Vylan at Glastonbury are unacceptable and have no place in civilized society.”
The statement further explained, “Mr. Vylan plans to tour the U.S. as part of the Inertia Tour. In light of this, Terrell’s Task Force will reach out to the U.S. Department of State on Monday to discuss actions to mitigate the spread of violent antisemitic messages in the country.”
His statement referenced U.S. President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. A senior senator informed The Daily Wire that they are already reviewing options to revoke the artists’ visa, recalling Trump’s “zero-tolerance” policy towards individuals deemed to promote terrorism.
