Digital Phablet – From drug-related issues to child sexual harassment, the Ramadan series “Bil Haram” is currently facing significant criticism from viewers due to the sensitive topics it tackles.
Fans have also complained that the show unfolds events too gradually, rendering it less engaging when compared to numerous other Ramadan series.
In response, Lebanese actor Tony Issa shared with ET Bil Arabi, “The start of the series might be somewhat slow because it introduces the characters and sets the stage for the story. ‘Don’t spoil things’ means not revealing all the plot points in the first episode. Patience is key to understanding how the story develops.”
He further explained, “Our audience tends to want to know everything immediately, without suspense or buildup. They can watch a Turkish series with hundreds of episodes and still enjoy it without boredom, flipping through episodes repeatedly. Yet, with ours, they expect to find out everything within the first few episodes.”
