“Main aap sabse bohot pyaar karta hoon!”
During the film’s promotional events, Tom Cruise conveyed a heartfelt message to his Indian supporters. Speaking in Hindi, he expressed, “Main aap sabse bohot pyaar karta hoon,” which translates to “I love you all very much.” This gesture delighted fans, who were excited to hear him communicate in their language with such affection.
His Affection for India and Bollywood
Tom Cruise reminisced about his visit to India in 2011, recalling experiences such as visiting the Taj Mahal, meeting Anil Kapoor, and enjoying his time in Mumbai.
He shared, “I have to say, the entire experience has left an indelible mark on my memory. From the moment I arrived to visiting the Taj Mahal and spending time in Mumbai with Anil and all the attendees at the premiere night – I remember every detail quite clearly.”
The actor also expressed his love for Bollywood films, particularly the unique blend of singing, dancing, and acting all within a single movie. He revealed that it’s his aspiration to participate in a Bollywood-style production someday.
In a playful video with Indian actress Avneet Kaur, Tom even delivered a Hindi line from his movie:
“Mujh par bharosa karo, ek aakhri baar” (Trust me, one last time).
The film premiered in India ahead of its release in the U.S. and grossed approximately ₹17.45 crore on its opening day, marking a significant success!
