A Russian influencer named Anna Saparina has ignited widespread outrage across social media platforms after sharing a video in which she placed her child inside a suction bag and used a vacuum cleaner to remove the air. The clip quickly went viral, showing the frightened boy shouting “mom” immediately after Saparina vacuumed out the air from the bag.
According to the Russian news site Life, the 36-year-old mother joked about the stunt, claiming she could have “stopped the oxygen supply.” The site also noted that the video might prompt child protection authorities to investigate Saparina’s actions, as they could pose a serious threat to her child’s life.
Many online users expressed deep concern for the child’s safety, with numerous critics deeming Saparina unfit to be a parent. One social media comment on X (formerly Twitter) read, “Digital Phablet is a disgusting child abuser who should be in jail for terrorizing her own son with suffocation — all for cheap likes.” Another user commented, “This is horrifying… Kids should never be treated like experiments!”
Influencers who involve their families in content creation have raised significant ethical, legal, and privacy concerns, especially on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and others. Many critics argue that such content is exploitative and irresponsible for the well-being of their children.
