American actor and filmmaker Robert Redford has passed away at the age of 89.
Redford appeared in numerous acclaimed films, including “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid” and “All the President’s Men.” He received an Oscar for directing “Ordinary People” and established the Sundance Film Institute.
Cindi Berger, CEO of Rogers & Cowan PMK, told The New York Times that the legendary Hollywood figure died early Tuesday morning peacefully at his home in Utah. The specific cause of death was not disclosed, but reports indicate he passed away in his sleep.
