During the investigation, authorities examined Sarah Khalifa’s mobile device, both while she was present and in her defense. Using the Picture Vault app, a 7-minute, 51-second video was uncovered showing a naked man in her bedroom. Unidentified individuals, whose faces are obscured, are seen assaulting and harming him with their hands and feet.
Another video on her phone depicts the same man covered in blood and suffering multiple injuries. Additionally, a 13-second clip shows him seated on the floor with notable head injuries, wearing a black T-shirt and beige pants. Sarah Khalifa’s voice is audible in the recording.
On her phone, law enforcement discovered a 12-second video. The individual featured wears a blue and white T-shirt and has a cut on his head. He addresses the camera, stating, “Captain ‘F’ was nice to me.” He claims to have confessed in exchange for 500,000 Egyptian pounds, and the video ends there.
It’s noteworthy that this case parallels a larger drug trafficking operation involving Sarah Khalifa and 27 others who are also facing charges. The trial has been adjourned until the following day to allow forensic experts to analyze the confiscated substances.
The proceedings resumed today, Wednesday, at the Cairo Criminal Court in New Cairo. The trial had been postponed previously. The well-known producer and 27 other suspects are accused of conspiring to form a coordinated criminal organization involved in manufacturing, trafficking, and possessing unlicensed firearms and ammunition.
Yesterday, Tuesday, the 27 suspects, including Sarah Khalifa, appeared before the Cairo Criminal Court to initiate their trials. Proceedings are ongoing today, Wednesday.
“Do the substances you examined in the defendants’ possession constitute a crime punishable by law?” questioned one of the attorneys during the trial. The chemist confirmed, “Yes, we confiscated narcotics listed in Schedule I of the Narcotics Control Schedule and materials prepared for manufacturing narcotics.”
As part of the case against Sarah Khalifa and 27 others, the Cairo Criminal Court heard testimonies from forensic scientists and medical experts on Tuesday. They face charges including firearm possession and participation in an organized crime group engaged in buying, producing, and distributing narcotics.
Sarah Khalifa, a television producer and host, has been ordered detained pending further investigation by the New Cairo Prosecution. These probes have intensified over the past six months and now attract significant public attention because authorities have linked criminal syndicates operating together.
